Unless Marvel overpowered Quicksilver to hell in recent years, (*this would not surprise me, considering how comic book superheroes are in recent years…I swear it’s like the industry was taken over by 9-year old writers at some point) or they use a significantly toned down version like… the old CBS show…? There’s absolutely NO way Quick should logically stand a chance. Back in the day he was always some lame “off-brand” version…the cheap Dollar Store bootleg poor-man’s Flash, basically. Remember seeing those cheap “Made in Korea” “GOLDEN FIGHTER Z” action figures that look suspiciously like Goku and friends but they really were just cheap no-name imitations? That’s how I always thought of Quicksilver, man. Flash was and is the real deal.
