No I don’t want either of them. If I have to choose the lesser of two evils I’d rather not choose at all.
I mean sure Donald Trump may be the white speck on top of chicken shit that is Hillary, but that white speck is still chicken shit so it doesn’t really matter either way.
(is rather glad he missed most of the conversations yesterday despite having to catch up 606 posts)
Yeah. It’s rather galling to say, but Trump actually lies less than Hillary does.
Granted, I would literally only vote for Trump out of spite, but that’s still more than I can stay for Hillary.
Well then you’ll apparently be glad to hear Ash Crimson doesn’t even exist anymore. He literally got erased from existence, intentionally and by his own choice (for the most part), at the end of KOF XIII.
Granted, it’s not like he still couldn’t come back from that in “Dream-matches” or whatever, especially if Vice and Mature are back in “official” tournaments as ghosts and now that Angel has turned after being gone for about 15 years. Still, between SNK knowing how disliked Ash was and way they had him leave, pretty much the only character in KOF history with a lesser chance of showing back up is K9999, and that’s because he was a literal rip-off of Tetsuo from Akira who has already been replaced as a character by Nameless.
Actually apparently the new saga for KOFXIV is supposed to introduce a time or reality warper who can snatch characters from any point in time and space and bring them into the present or some shit, so Ash could come back in a Saga game as well.
Huh. I can’t say that’s too surprising given the “Timey-Wimey” story line that the Ash Saga ended up actually having and concluding on, but, yeah, I doubt they’d use it to bring back Ash, at least as usable character. They’re more likely to bring back Rugal or one of the dead Orochi characters really, even if it’s someone we’ve never seen before like Leona’s father.
I was also under the impression that Ash’s erasure was so absolute that even something like that wouldn’t be able to restored even that method, but I suppose it’s not like SNK couldn’t retcon that if SNK really wanted to do so.
As it is, I’m still somewhat surprised that Nakoruru’s finally showed up in a KOF game even though she’s technically immortal/a spirit.
