If i go to a chinese food place and i dont see chinese people cooking i leave i want my sesame chicken to actually really be cats and rats i dont trust any other race to make it right
Yeah, its like he heard huang say one thing, and thats all he focused on. Huang clearly stated, well 20 years from now, when she gets more automated, the economy cannot function how it does now. Ive had this conversation with people for over a decade now. ITS OBVIOUS. America has to strive towards some pseudo utopia, and change many things, or this country will literally turn into a dystopia.
Technology cant advance, and we as a society do not. All joe could focus on was all the lazy piece of shit people hes surrounded himself by most of his life, and how basic income wouldnt do shit for them. He doesnt know that. Maybe relieving the stress of doing a job you hate, and being able to pay your bills will allow more creativity, love, freedom, and all the other good shit joe talks about when hes talking about psychedelic drugs.
I felt huang came in humble, and a fan. But probably left thinking joe rogan is kind of a douchebag, and thats unfortunate.
**Ive realized over time joe rogan is like my girlfriend. She wants to talk about serious shit, but not really, and when i kick some shit her way that she doesnt understand, she doesnt say, well i should look into that. She gets pissy and fights to have her point of view be the only right one. For a guy that railroads people for that way of thinking, he sure went ham with it this episode. **
This is why I hate when he tries to sound like an intellectual.
He dismisses government-awarded minimum salaries but considers in solely in a vacuum and speaks in absolutes. Truth is, the digital age is WAY different than other revolutions in the past because the machines we’ve made are making some jobs obsolete. Food prep, check out, waitstaff, manufacturing, journalist, doctor, etc. ALL are being more and more automated. What’s going to happen to the people who are left without work when there are no more jobs except very few left?
Smarter people have already tackled this question but Joe “I Love My Conspiracy Theories” Rogan won’t read them because “that’s the mainstream media, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.”
But creativity is a subjective concept inherently. Drugs and hallucinogenics may open the door to that creativity, but it doesn’t put something out that wasn’t already there. And even if it did, who would get to say that someone is more or less creative on said drugs? After all, my definition of creative will differ from the next. Something I find beautiful another might find trivial.
Steroids and other ACTUAL performance enhancers PHYSICALLY improve you. They allow you to work outside of your body’s usual limits. It’s not the same thing at all.
You know white women are salty as fuck Harriet will be on the $20. They’ll act celebratory about it but you know they really wanted someone shitty like Amelia Earhart or Marilyn Monroe. It’s like when they were outwardly clamoring for more female protagonists in video games but let Remember Me flop because the main character is too brown.
They bought Life is strange though. Gee, I wonder why.
Its funny, because a podcast like 2 weeks ago or more. I remember him having a conversation about him having a big issue with letting shit go in the past. They were talking about road rage. Maybe it was the action bronson episode. Hes the type of person to just not let shit go. It was maybe a month or so ago now that i think of it, but recent enough.
It comes out sometimes.
Joe is just a different guy though. Like, joe rogan is the type of guy that if you say, weed makes me lazy, and i cant do shit while high. He will debate you for 2 hours on why youre just a lazy piece of shit, and need more control over yourself. lol
He has a point sometimes with his steadfast toughness of taking life by the balls, and not being a pussy, but thats not always the case joe. Like, he didnt even have the intellectual fortitude to say, i dont know about 30k base income without a time frame of not collecting, but maybe ever american baby is born with a 50k base, and they use it or lose it from there. You know, just tossing other ideas out there to discuss, and ADVANCE the conversation.
He immediately jumped into attack mode, like the chimps he loves so much, and compares us all too so often. Normally i wouldnt care about this. Id turn the podcast off, and just look for the next one, but eddie is a good dude, and you could tell he was a fan, humble, and just trying to kick the shit. But joe reverted back to being in high school again.
I never said mental enhancement wasn’t a real thing, but honestly my first mistake probably was thinking this conversation might become interesting.
