SRK Lounge: The Protein Cannon edition

Must… not… flirt with Miriam (outsourced tech from EMC).

Imagining her as she probably really looks instead of how I imagine her to look based on Bollywood movies and her cute ass voice.

150 seems to be a stretch. I’d say more like 30-40 years.

The holograph table I posted could end up being either badass, or a novelty item with Zaxxon graphics

Ha, this Skullgirl video with the east coast accents.

“EH MASTA CHEEBI” - Joey Wheeler interview.

You know how many Holodeck related fatalities there would be if that shit was real?

And I don’t mean from the inherent danger that might come from being in a place like, just from stupid motherfuckers dying from dehydration and starvation.

Good way to lower the chinese population

You reckon? We’ve only just managed to brain waves to do very basic outputs, 40 years seems too soon to be able to input video feeds into our brains, and then network that with other human brains

If the Matrix/Holodeck era finally becomes a reality in gaming…oh yes it will indeed be infinitely better than real life. It’s similar to how a good lucid dream far surpasses anything that can happen in reality, because there’s no rules limiting the possibilities.

Dreamworld or future Virtual Reality game = I can be a godlike being with incredible powers, multiple lives…and there’s not much of a limit in what we can do.

Real Life = you’re stuck being an ordinary human that can easily be injured or die, with an ordinary, stressful job to attend for most of your life. Once it’s retirement time (if you were wise with your money and had a stable enough job to even afford retiring in the first place)…your health soon degrades to a depressing point where death becomes a welcome, anticipated exit from all the pain and misery.

Yep, Dreamworld and Gameworld win.

I meant a rudimentary holo deck. Star trek style shit would likely take 100 years or so

(Ugh. These past 12 hours have been wasted even if I’ve been awake for 5 of them.)

I want to say that I have no comments on hologram stuff, but that’s more because expect an absurdly small amount of “good” to come out of most useful future technologies. [/neo-Luddite-ness]

But how can he eat an infinite amount of something that’s finite? Even ignoring how utterly wasteful that would be, it just seems…impossible.

Also, don’t give DC new ideas for a crossover comic. We hardly need an Infinitely Dickless Crisis on 52 Earths crossover after like 5 years of nothing but crossovers and then their terribly horrible reboot. New Starfire has to slut herself out somehow and mere dildos won’t suffice.

I just wasted 32 dollars on Walking Dead figures to put on my wall.

I am investing my money so wisely.

then is it really a waste?

They are plastic things that will just sit there. In the long run, it’s basically a waste. DISPOSABLE INCOME!!!

but it makes your room look better. Beats teh shit out of dumping 1k on a painting some asshole did imo, at least you can play with these. nods

I regret not buying this badass Justice League Painting I saw in the store for 40$

But if I play with them, their value will vanish! These are investment!

I also read new Fables and new Walking Dead. I love FABLES!!!111!!

I saw a He-Man film cell for $140 last month and still wish I owned it

This is lounge thread 23. I’ll be the countkeeper from now on.

Damned. I am calling you out. Do you know why? You should know why.

is it because you added a scantily clad female warrior as your avatar?

Dear body,

I hate you for losing muscle and getting lazy since Evo. Why haven’t we gone to the gym? Why am I so lazy? Why is Taco Bell so delicious?

  • FallingEdge

Negative, my dear Watson. It’s much more obvious than that.

FallingEdge, you fuckin’ up, son. It’s okay, though. I am, too. :shake:
