Eh…the graphical update stuff is debatable but new mechanics have cropped up in plenty of fighting games. I think the current problem is that with the old games, the basic way of playing it was still good. The basic way of playing SF4 is still shitty and then it does other stuff. So before we can even bother exploring something, we started with shit and then they threw sprinkles on it. SFxT looks to be that way; shit with sprinkles. In music terms, SF4 can’t play scales properly and its already trying to do full pieces.
MvC3 feels the other way around. Its like they took a lemon cake and then used crap as frosting. Doesn’t matter how good part of it is, you’re eventually going to have to deal with the crap one way or another.
Bleh. I think I appreciate Blizzard even more because they don’t do the graphical update thing. Considering that Hollywood is home to a particularly left crowd with a strong Jewish community running Hollywood, I disagree. Heston’s dead, Reagan’s dead, and there’s only handful of Angie Harmons and Fred Thompsons, both who claim persecution by Hollywood because of their stance; I don’t think even half of professional actors have a conservative mindset.
