I always like on Kickstarter how people make it seem like they love their work so much they will do it for free but once they figure out it is actual work and it’s hard they want a ton of money. <br /><br>

Yeah pretty much, but more games are open to play as GGPO has some like licensing issues or whatever. Trying to go LEGIT and stuff I guess lol. New Supercade is loads better than what it used to be but still has a stigma as shitty GGPO, but I don’t want to play 3s all day against Brazilians so fuck it.

It’s odd to me that people can apparently make a living out of being a regular character on commercials… I just saw “Flo” from the Progressive commercials yet again.  That’s what, 15+ or so commercials she’s done as this character so far?  She’s apparently a stand-up comedian as well, but I’ll bet she’s making more money from being that character on a regular basis.<br><br>Another strange thing… she’s actually better-looking in those commercials than she is normally.  <br><br>Wendy’s Girl is still going strong too…looking better with each new one.  Those redheads, folks… they are magical creatures.<br>

lots of people in Cali live off commercial gigs. you make money every single time the commercial is on- and if the public likes your ad enough, the company will keep hiring you to keep the storyline going. even already established actors get in on it (Gilbert Gottfried for AFLACK before he got fired; President Palmer and then homeboy from Oz for Allstate; etc) and they usually get paid more because of their fame. <br><br>i’m not 100% sure, but it really sounds like Rawls from <i>The Wire</i> is the new voice for Home Depot<br>

I enjoyed Skullgirls when I played the demo.  When I am not broke, I will definitely be picking it up.  <div><br></div><div>2) I thought SFIV originally launched with a super small cast.  No Cammy either.  That shit all came in the home versions (there was no Gen, Gouken, Dan, Rose, etc)</div><div><br></div><div>3) Please Dear God tell me somebody is fixing this forum still</div><div><br></div><div>4) If SFIV characters cost a million to make, I wouldn’t be surprised. That’s a lot of voicework, sound work, art, as well as programming and design.  Still, SHOULD be able to do that for less money.  Hell, all the SFxT Capcom characters should be ported over to SFIV for fuck’s sakes.</div>
