Sunday seems like it was a few years ago.<br><br>The Borderlands 2 fans out there really do seem to be a bit on the whiny side, imo… just because I part 1 (and the wording of a certain achievement) set up an expectation that there would be a level-cap increase. Goddammit, man… they somehow are NOT satisfied with the wealth of content this game has already delivered? The main game is only “short” if you speed-run through the shit without any sidequests…even shorter of course if you did that one exploit to power-level a character straight to 50 in about an hour or so, before that was patched (and it seems like a LOT of folks were doing that). Aside from a super-short DLC that was out recently, the other 2 were entertaining, at least in my opinion… story, extra new items and enemies, heads/skins, etc. Then, if you make it to level 50 with one character… why not start on another one? Then, the other and so on…it’s not like that only takes 5 minutes. Oh and even that was just glossed over, really… just within 1 character, there’s multiple ways to play around with the skills, various build ideas in terms of where you spend the level-up points, which in turn incorporates various types of shields, weapons, class mods and grenades.<br><br>Then again, gamers these days DON’T want to be happy and entertained. They put effort into NOT enjoying their purchase. See, if I was one of the developers out there, I would be too tempted to tell the general audience the truth about themselves as I see it, and I’d probably end up being fired since that would of course be bad for business (people would stop buying the games purely out of spite after I stepped on their punk ass little toes too much.) It’s like if the old generation of gamers out there, when SMB3 came out… they ignored all the good things about it and just complained “WHY CAN’T WE PLAY AS THE OTHER CHARACTERS LIKE IN PART 2!” or “No Wart?!” (*haha, I just pictured a dude replying <b>"'cause it’s part 3, nigga! You question the guidance of our Lord and Savior Shigeru Miyamoto!?")</b> or what the fuck ever. <br><br>Besides the issue of looking past all the good things just so you can complain— there’s that issue of being overpowered to the point of shit just being stupid (which would indeed be amusing to me though). The characters in this game already are pretty godlike by the time they’re 40-something… at 50 they are basically unstoppable unless you have a super cheap boss out there. If the BL2 cast could get a few more skill-points… oh it would just be disgusting… like a modded character running around that can literally do anything. Then, of course they’d find something else to complain about, like how their level 50 gear is now obsolete because everyone is level 55 now.<br>
