If you have a complete version of CT you can get a lot more than a 100 bucks, same with SMRPG. Earthbound is going for OBSCENE amounts. Having a PS1 copy of Chrono Trigger makes the SNES cart useless to me because I fucking hate battery saves, you never know when your NES/SNES/GB/GBC battery saves are going to die, and replacing them deletes your saves. Fuck that shit, thank god for memory cards, flash memory and HDD’s. Sure HDD’s can crap out, but you can backup those saves at least. When a Dreamcast VMU battery dies, you lose all your saves too, right? I haven’t experienced a VMU dying yet personally. There’s a few games I want to play through on DC still, and Toodles SF collection is GDLK.
All I have with my SNES CT copy is just the cart, fark it. I think my PS1 saves are more “complete” as well.
