What’s it like when they die? Any obvious signs? Things to watch for, etc?
I was gonna make a spread but, alas, I only have the ramen and cheese…no chilli. So I just did it the same way Ive been doing it for years. Some soy sauce, garlic salt, black pepper, Tabasco, and lime. I gotta wait till the kids go to bed as making that shit makes everyone in the house cough.
I’m still thinkin’ it’d get hung up on “titties”.

Nothing obvious. She was doped up and laying there. We watched her for hours and a single time my aunt freaked out before her death because she thought she had passed. Just checked her breathing a couple times. When she died it just looked like she was laying there. My grandmother was over 70 and had had dementia for years.
The weird thing was, the damn doctor. He walked in all nonchalant to declare her death six minutes late. Everyone around me was bawling too. Guess he was just used to it as an old indian fogey.
I’m sure if the guy sees people dying on a daily basis he becomes desensitized to it all. So I guess the South Park theory of pants shitting isn’t a good thing to look for?
Yeah but I’m talking this guy had no tact about it. We knew she was dead. He slides in like the Pink Panther, grabs her arm to check, looks at us and says “She’s dead.” It was like, no shit dude. I’m surrounded by female relatives and my mom with faces wetter than a sea urchin. You think we don’t know? It’s not even cool to remind people right away like that. When my dog died in 2007, later in the day my mom said to me “What happened?” I had to walk away. Could barely contain myself.

I work security at a major hospital. I’ve had my fair share of seeing people die and rushing their families back to the room. That, and having my mother pass away back in 1999, my aunt and my grandpa in 2001, then my grandma in 2007. My mother was the first person that I knew in my family or extended family to pass away on me. I cried and threw shit around, naturally. I don’t think one ever fully recovers from a family death, they just cope with it somehow.
When my uncle died it took me about a month to show any emotion, I didn’t cry or anything, I just ignored it all and took care of the family. Finally I had like twenty minutes to myself, got it out, and moved on with my life. Most people just cry and grieve immediately but it just hadn’t processed for me yet and I had better things to worry about than myself.
My Grandmother has been in this depression since he passed, so about eight years now? She is finally trying to get over it.
you beat me over all, i’ve only built about 20-25 since i first started on 03. the AVIDs i built shit on most gaming computers made up until 8800 Ultra came out.
hands on repair is well over 1000 for me though. i’ve been doing that since i was a kid. i’d usually have to fix 3-4 computers a day at the college.
Fuck friends. I should start charging those motherfuckers every time they want me to take a look at their computer.

Can’t say I’ve built more than 8 from scratch myself, since… 98?. Though only two of those haven’t been for myself.

I know that Berserk is supposed to be really, really good. It’s just that I need to get ready for next week, especially with how fucking lazy I’ve been, and as such I don’t need such a potentially large distraction. Rocket Punch to Hyper Sentinel Force is rather…iffy in UMvC3, but it does still work. It just tends to only work when some minimum threshold of hits hasn’t been reached mid-screen or when Sentinel is in the corner. I’m not sure how it works, mostly because I don’t like Sentinel at all.
It’s why I made “Robo-Kikosho” bold. Picturing Sentinel trying to do anything Chun-li could otherwise do is hilarious; just like Chun-li’s sixth “Shadow Lady” color is hilariously bad.
More towards the former. It’s effectively role-playing fictional entries. I’m not sure how it started since I’ve only been reading individual entries, but it’s not like a conspiracy theorist website if that’s what you’re implying.
I guess I really don’t get it. Role-playing? Like this is for a PNP RPG, or what?

Nah, not pen-and-paper type RPG. It’s not DnD or anything. I mean role-playing in sense of more “imitation” or “pretending”; “role-playing” just sounds more “adult” (which is probably it’s used for sexual situations outside of the PNP sense).
As I said above, I don’t entirely understand it either because I’ve only read bits, even though I think I read 100 already over the entirety of this weekend. Just think of it as some people collectively deciding it would fun and/or interesting to do create their own collection of sci-fi, conspiracy-esque writings as part of an interactive “mythology”. Even if you can’t fully understand or get behind that, then you at least under that it’s still one of the tamer things that people do with the Internet.
I fix about 20-30 a day 
most of the time it’s pretty simple shit. I’ve been dealing with those rogue antivirus programs a LOT lately. Thank God they are easy (except System Fix, which renames key files as temp files, thus wiping them out if u run shit like CCleaner).
Building PCs is sorta easy as most people know what they want, or have a limited budget but wanna run a gaming rig. Enjoy your stock sound card.
