There will never be an Alita movie in our lifetime. It will get pushed back from 2016 to 2020 and so on and so forth. At this point I would rather see a faithful anime series adaption but Japan hates things that are good and only makes shows based off of shitty visual/light novels or porn. Yukito should have the French help him out, they like stuff like that.
