I like the way the Mahvel characters look in the older games too, especially their animation. I’m just pointing out the fact that the older Marvel games, CvS and CFJ have a ridiculous mish-mash of artstyles and sprites ripped from various different games and time periods. Don’t think you think anime Ryu looks weird next to Cartoon Wolverine? Or “modern” Ryu in CvS next to an anime Alpha sprite of Rolento? 3S Yun/Chun next to…anyone in that game not in 3S? I never really thought too much of it before, but it’s bugging the hell out of me now.
