Like you said, Scorpion fight was beautiful cinematically (tree grove, no leaves, then he goes to Netherrealm). It showed off a ton of moves (teleports, spears, shadow kicks, etc). That entire battle was well planned, looked good, lasted awhile, and finished great. Sub-Zero fight wasn’t bad bad essentially boiled down to Sub-Zero trying to freeze an entire room and getting killed by a bucket of water. And his previous fight lasted like 6 seconds. Didn’t help that everybody knew Sub and Scorpion were mortal enemies, and yet here they were chums.
I hated the Reptile fight. I understand CGI was still in it’s infancy back then but that fight was terribad. And the boogie boogie kicks at the end were laughably bad. Yes I call them boogie boogie kicks, because I like to imagine he is screaming BOOGIE BOOGIE BOOGIE BOOGIE BOOGIE as he does it.
I also thought the Reptile fight should have ended with him throwing a fireball instead. Then instead of a fireball vs Shang Tsung, he should have used his helicopter spin kick uppercut fatality to knock his ass to the pit. And Shang Tsung probably should have changed into other dudes for that fight. Instead of summoning dudes from the past.

Uh, wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to just live in one of the many surrounding cities around san francisco, or even in oregon, than to make an absurd commute from vegas every day? LOL. Also, vegas cost of living is fucking outlandishly cheap. It says you can rent a 2 bedroom 10 miles outside of vegas for a grand. Um, you can rent a whole 3br 2 ba house across the street from UNLV, which is like 1.5 miles from the strip, for a grand, or get a nice apartment for like 750 in a gated area across the street from the mall there, which is like a 1/4 mile max from UNLV.
Not that i dont get the point that san francisco cost of living is outrageous, but that reddit based journalism is garbage tier.
San francisco is a tiny city at the tip of a peninsula. Its not like its 80 percent of northern california. Just dont live in fucking san francisco unless you got gwap. Problem solved.
