I’m the ex-moderator that finally found the time to report them for all of the shady shit they have been doing over the course of the last year. They originally demodded me due to my suspicion that the subreddit was filled with paid reputation management accounts. Since this has gone down, these accounts have been assaulting my character nonstop, trying to drag my name through the mud. Here’s the basic rundown regarding the moderators:

1.They accepted favors in return for moderator actions.

2.They farmed the subreddit nonstop for YouTube revenue by stickying videos made by the moderators and adding referral links in the sidebar.

3.They tried to cover up the bribery by banning users who tried to expose them

4.They willingly suppressed criticism of the game through moderator action

5.They turned a blind eye to the massive astroturfing operation that is underway in the subreddit.

6.They exposed personal details about users that were confided in private.

Of course I have screenshots and links to validate all of this, but I’m on mobile right now so it will have to wait until I get home. So what is the end result?
•Profiteering moderators were shadowbanned
•EA “community manager” shadowbanned
•New moderators appointed by Admin (meh)

All moderators were given access to the closed alpha of the game with the understanding that we would censor certain submissions

EA is a shadow of what they used to be but morons continue to support them.

There is a reason why Battlefront had a review embargo, for the same reason the new Fantastic Four movie did.

Don’t listen to this guy, keep your 60 bucks for something good.
The game has terrible weak progression. Everything is low risk/medium reward, because what’s a 3 second respawn punishment? No specialized classes, everyone just rolls with a jetpack, sniper or shield. New maps will come at a price. But will still be a boring zerg fest.

It’s fun for peasants because they don’t know any better.

But for the rest of us, it’s as mad fun as getting treadmill burn marks all over your body.

Not wrong on the progression. Unno why every company feels like they gotta lock everything behind a level up meter. Locking it behind Space Shekels is enough. No need to also throw in a level up system as well. I just wanna play as my alien species instead of my ugly human characters. *All the human models look like garbage.

I mean, keep your 60 bucks or don’t. It’s a fun game, which is par for the course for DICE. Complaining about the lack of classes is pretty funny considering Battlefront 2 only had 3 anyway. If you did any amount of research you would immediately realize it’s a totally different beast from BF2. The Season pass is not only adding more maps, but more heroes, modes and weapons too. Who knows, maybe we’ll see Space Battles come back.

But actually being surprised that EA is committing shitty business practices? Welcome to a decade ago. :rofl: It still speaks nothing of the actual gameplay, which has plenty of content as it is now. I’d like more maps, but that’s honestly my only complaint so far.
