That’s definitely a possible concern, but given that’s always going to be concern regardless of how you label or arrange things, I’d say that you should on making sure that such people get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law–depending on the circumstances–rather than potentially using it as an excuse to not do anything. And I say this as the most cynical, cautious person in here. You definitely think about concerns, especially where other people are involved, but if all your concerns end up kowtowing to the ubiquitous dark side of human nature and the nonexistent goodness in people’s “hearts” & minds, then you never get around to doing anything.

Coming from my own experience dealing with irrational hate towards race and sexual orientation(especially in criminal matters) I’m simply afraid for what they’ll go through just to get bathroom they identify with.

By all means make them, it’s an easy fix.

I see. I’m sorry to hear that, though it’s not at all surprising given the way people are even if calling people"phobic" or “bigoted” (rather than just biased or ignorant) is increasingly overused. If anything, then I expect trans people to be treated like you fear for a (quite) while regardless of bathroom or any other considerations if the persons in question really want to do so, though that literally goes for any prejudice or anger or malice towards another person. I just think that a third sex-neutral bathroom is the best solution in general, that it doesn’t need to and probably shouldn’t be transitional, and that, all things concerned, it isn’t very important in the grand scheme of things as far as actual intentional discrimination goes.

I’m not sure I like Laura getting made even more into Wolverine Lite/the Wolverine clone she literally is though, complete with costume. So conflicted…

She’s always been used and presented a bit differently, not too much like “girl-Wolverine”, even now despite the costume, I don’t expect her portrayal or personality to be changed too much(going off of the previews, it hasn’t at all).

Oh, we agree there, even if weirdly I didn’t mind Daken all that much. Despite disliking Wolverine, I’ve liked Laura since the beginning. I’m just wary that she may be made into “girl-Wolverine” by incapable writers since it would be easy.
