Anyway, I’m just going to leave this here with all of the future-related talk though I already posted in the more relevant thread:
So I just finished episode 1 of One Punch Man…holy shit it’s easily one of the best pilot episodes of anything I’ve ever seen!
-Other action shows wish they had 1% of this level of badass, ridiculous, hype, manly as fuck action it’s easily DBZ tier
-The writing is GDLK, I haven’t laughed this hard in a while, and in a 20 minute episode already flipped and butchered a dozen action/anime/comic book tropes without breaking a sweat
-It does so much with so little it’s incredible, One Punch Man’s 5 minute origin story is 10x more interesting than most super hero’s over expository, dragged out, macguffin filled films
I’ll be supremely disappointed if OPM doesn’t eventually present a villain that can give him a hard time, hell with the GDLK vibe of the pilot I bet OPM will accidentally hit a newborn baby who somehow is unaffected and then OPM has to wait years for him to grow up and be able to fight back only to learn that the kid is a total hippie and has no interest in fighting

There was a movie or book about time travel, and the guy thought he could change time. Ended up he was supposed to change time, then he realized he couldnt change time cause it is all part of the plan.

A person in our group project drove a nail through a finger. Another person from my group wounded himself similarly. We were putting nails through wood for a model scale construction. The sizing is one inch equals one foot.
The nails we used are small, soft, and get bent with pressure. Depending on the direction of force it can be driven into unintended areas or become angled. The nail will get bent. What occurred with the injuries is that their hand got in the way while nailing. The nail must have poked out from a surface and punctured the hand on the piece. It could have happened to me. We each had an individual task putting a frame together using wood and nails. Nailing is done with a hammer or pin-pusher.
I told Vlad he should get the wound checked out or something. He seemed fine and resumed right after as if nothing happened, in spite of saying that he could feel the nail almost going into his fingernail. Damn, man. He came from the bathroom with paper tissue wiped the blood off and started working on his thing. Lorenzo hurt himself too, probably not that bad. He assisted me with my structure so it got finished.
I feel sorry about their small accidents. For caution one should keep fingers away from span of the nailing surface or carefully handle the nailing.
I continually screwed up on my piece and had to repeat things. The wood pieces and nails came apart and had to be redone. Some stuff I cut to the mistaken length so it had to be replaced and started over. It took me quite some time to put together my wood stud wall. My group gave me great help on this and through the course. I feel thankful to them.
This all sucks bad. sigh

What sucks more is that when he sent that nail through his finger he didn’t raise it up and yell out “NAILED IT!”
