Here is what’s coming up in the very near future with the law enforcement types, imo---- a whole generation of them will be inclined to do absolutely nothing. They’ll just keep their fat-ass in a squad car somewhere, eating doughnuts…even if they happen to see you getting mugged one day—the cop of tomorrow will just think "eh, not worth the hassle…fucked up but it’s not my problem." and go right on collecting a paycheck for nothing. I guarantee you that this is what’s in store for us all later on, probably in just the next few years…especially with media hype focusing on each situation which makes anything look like it’s a “growing trend” despite what actual numbers may show.

That already happened, and happens in New york. A dude was assaulted in a train, in front of a cop, and the cop didn’t do shit.

Its already taking hold.

it has the ninja gaiden black style of wallrun where you run up, then slide down. i want to add a “billboard” wall run where you can run along things that are in the background to cover wide horizontal gaps.

So one thing I’ve noticed about great platformer. Is that air mobility has an increased movement speed over ground movement. That always gives a game a better flow of movement. Doesn’t have to be a large amount but always felt a little faster while airborne or after a jump makes the gameplay itself feel great.

generally that means increased acceleration in the air, rather than an increased maximum speed. it feels a lot faster even if it isnt, especially when theres no cap on terminal speed. falling fast tricks you into thinking youre moving faster overall even if your horizontal speed is the same.

there are lots of platformers without acceleration and deceleration though. we call those games “bad games”.

Ugh. Random people who think they relate you solely because you’re the same skin color are some of the most annoying motherfuckers alive, which unfortunately describes way too many black people in general even though we’re hardly the only ones that do that.

Walking to the store for a quick Lunchable fix, still in the residential area. I see a car at the intersection, I wait for it to go. It doesn’t. Whatever man, dude is probably on his phone or something. So I get to going. Few feet down the street, the car pulls up next to me. At first, it looks like they’re about to flip a bitch, but instead they stop a little in front of me. Windows are rolled down, I see a woman in the driver’s seat. She’s about a 4 on a good day, she stops me.

Now whenever I get stopped by a car, happens more than you’d think, I always look into the back seats. Just to see if anything funky is about to go down. Well I can’t see shit in her backseat. But anyway she stops me, asks me if I speaky the Spanish. I tell her no. I do, but I don’t feel like trying to give her directions. But then she tries speaking English. She keeps on saying something “friend”. Giggling and looking around as she does. I assume she’s a crack head looking for her friend somewhere. But before I tell her I can’t help, she says “My friend.
