I agree with you. We should be using our money to catch the people who are actually victimizing the children. Don’t worry about the people who see the stuff. Don’t worry about weirdos who look at illustrated pictures of the same shit either.
I agree for another reason too. The political landscape is changing. The majority of the US is for the legalization of marijuana and numerous people are waking up to the bullshit that is the “War on Drugs”. The moment we begin to right our wrongs concerning those topics the judges, law enforcement, and private prison companies will be looking for new ways to get convictions that will validate their careers. I firmly believe that they’ll be moving to crimes technological in nature, which includes CP. I can imagine shithead cops committing to actions of “cyber flaking.” That is to say they’ll sign up to a website like this, post a CP image in a popular thread, then whoever mistakenly saw it is busted. Whole life is ruined. /not so much of a conspiracy
I would bet that the majority of registered, active voters still buy into the war on drugs and perhaps even oppose marijuana legalization. And even if they didn’t, it is to the benefit of the corporate owners of the government that illicit drugs remain illicit. The private prison industry, for example, thrives on a steady flow of non-violent drug offenders. We are not going to see this stuff come to an end in the foreseeable future, even if the entertainment conglomerates are pushing new copyright legislation as the next big thing in plutocratic oppression.

I really enjoyed the Ultimate FF run with the zombies. Even with Mark Millar writing it.
Swipes are common. You have to expect it in an industry that puts pressure on artists to meet monthly deadlines and work in a homogenous style.

Greg Land is good when he doesn’t trace. I just like poking fun at him as much as the next guy. He’s hired because he gets shit done on time.
Right now, Marvel pretty much has a revolving door for artists. There are a select few that are pissed about it. Me, sure there are some artists that I’d like to see stick around, but I’m far more concerned with who is writing the stuff.

Man, I just stumbled across a YouTube video called “King Diamond on America’s Got Talent” and I got all excited, thinking that someone was singing Mercyful Fate songs on a TV program for housewives. Turns out, it’s some random dude calling himself King Diamond, no relation whatsoever.
