IRC comic #1 starts five years after MK9, a bit after the “Netherrealm war”, and then it quickly timeskips to somewhere between 15-20 years after MK9. MKX will start in-media-res at the Netherrealm war apparently and then timeskip quickly around until it’s at 25 years after MK9 and stay there for most of the game, so it’s five years after the comic takes place.
Mileenas new design is great. Probably the best new redesign I’ve seen in MKX.

Slots are filling up, pretty sure we all know who is in at this point. But I don’t think their DLC plans are done with this Season Pass frankly.
Reason being that there is a few characters in story mode that have models and some you even fight.
So I am not ruling anyone out down the line.
Not in the initial roster or the first batch of DLC.
He has a high change of being in the next batch of DLC though, along with characters like the cyborgs and Fujin and Baraka, if they aren’t killed in story mode or anything.

Asking someone to pay for an iconic, recurring character like Shang Tsung is bullshit. I’d rather him just not be in the game than be tacked on as DLC. That’s not doing the character justice. Same for Baraka… These aren’t characters you make DLC.

Tried to think of what new characters from the deception to Armageddon era that I would like to see besides Kenshi. I really can’t think of any, I did like Mavado but Takeda is cooler Mavado.
