I only like Gill because he’s pretty much Urien with insane stun and ex everything. I suck at charge constantly and I have trouble masking my charges. I try to charge way too much. Honestly though when I bought 3SOE, I was going to main Urien. Online killed that idea. Before that was Akuma whose been my favorite SF character for quite some time. 3S Akuma going crazy and doing resets which are pure sex, are amazing. Then I discovered RX and his Urien. I’m just burning time messing around with Gill combos in training mode/arcade. The pokes I use are AA close MP, crFP, fwd+MK, MK, RH, and my favorite crMP. That shit moves forward and can go under Akuma air FBs.
The only reason I’m bad at 3S is because getting down parrying is work which I don’t mind but I’m not putting heavy time into a game that’s not at the top 3 of my list. I would go back to GGPO but some of the gasP modern FGs I actually like. KOF XIII/VF5FS etc. I got P4A which I’m still at Day 1 skills. There’s also Tekken Tag 2 and maybe DOA5. And GGXXAC is coming too. I gotta cut off some of these games.

The Gill thing kinda soured me to re-up XBL subscription right away. And I do have a few friends list for a solid group of players. Worth it to play them, when I won’t be able to play them again live until EVO maybe.
Stand LK goes right into crHP chain combo for Gill. Don’t tell the kids. I don’t know why Boss Gill can do marvel chain series low kicks 123 so easy but its harder for a player controlling him. Maybe like alpha 3 Guy doing chain combos you can’t do. 2 Fierce elbows, even on whiff?!

The ONLY time I tried learning a Shoto was SF3 Akuma. Every other game I saw him just failed to capture how badass he was in that game. ESPECIALLY SF4.

I spent 5 minutes in training mode learning Gill to troll people online in 3S:OE, no joke. Dude is so broken, it’s easy to 100% stun about 1/2 the cast off of a single hit. His priority and insane normals are crazy too.
After I destroy people over and over again with Ryu, I switch to Gill to troll. His laugh taunt causes sodium levels to rise through the roof.
