Man, the graphics in the new MGS game genuinely surprised me. If that isn’t just smoke and mirrors and legit then it is beautiful. All Big Boss titles have been fun as hell so far, I hope this is less MGS4 (Cutscenes: the game) I’d pick a PS3 up for it.
Oh wait said 360 and PS3, bah gawd I don’t need a new console to enjoy a fine MGS game. That or Dnoid doesn’t word things well.

It will NOT look like that on Xbox or PS3, I guarantee you…
It will look good, but not that good… PC’s are just less convenient than consoles…everything that you get for console is guaranteed to work…
Peripherals like controllers are guaranteed to work perfectly, games should work as intended without alterations to system settings, etc…
I’ve been thinking about a gaming PC, but I get frustrated more easily with anything…

It that is meant to be released on current gen, my faith is not backing that kind of graphics on console. Did devs even max out the PS3’s capabilities yet? And if the PS3 version looks like that and the 360 doesn’t, riots will breakout. Fox Engine is dat sex though. Need to do a Tekken with that engine.
Steve Vai’s strength is that he has a lot of weird ideas and a total lack of execution barrier. Most guitar players have one or the other.
He’s also really versatile, another trait not commonly associated with shred guys. He transcribed music for (and eventually played with) Frank Zappa, he had all kinds of sideman gigs in the '80s, he can go from rock stuff like “Juice” to pretty stuff like “Whispering a Prayer” to WTF stuff like “Fire Garden”… he doesn’t just do Yngwie type stuff, even though he could if he wanted to.
(You know, sweep-picked diminished arpeggios, alternate-picked linear diminished arpeggios, sweep-picked diminished arpeggios in another key, twirl the guitar around by its strap, high kick in leather pants, more arpeggios.)

idk from what I’ve read, PS3 has complicated architecture… and development for 360 is MUCH easier… in general with multiplatform games, Xbox>>>> PS3… further helps that games are developed for PC first(I think) and Xbox is a microsoft product soooo…
However PS3 is definitely capable of more… PS3 is a stronger/better system, and has a disk-type with a huge capacity… but no one ever bothers dipping into dat potential… /lazy development(or deadlines that are mad strict)
Konami showed folks what you could create with effort on the PS3 end(MGS4- I disliked it, but is probably the pinnacle of what the PS3 is capable of, I haven’t seen anything do better YET)…
If PS3 was as easy to work with as Xbox 360, I wouldn’t own an Xbox… because I’d be guaranteed a good port on either system…
I wish I had that money… I tried avoiding buying books by all means necessary… if I didn’t need 500+ dollars of books, then I woulda been copped a computer:sad:…
