I absolutely love news stories that show off how stupid or evil most women are… I was reminded of the Drew Petersen case since that movie about him was on last night. Here’s a guy that became reasonably well-known for having wives that “mysteriously” disappear or end up dead…like wife #3 found dead in a bathtub (and I think the tub was actually dry!? An “accident”, sure.) and wife #4 has STILL not been found…yet women continued to love this guy. This is on top of him not even being a “Brad Pitt” or random soap opera hunk-status dude in the looks department…he was/is a pudgy middle-aged looking guy. One would THINK that the things that happened to his previous wives would be an instant deal-breaker for most women, but nope. Flip those roles around for a second… would a man of even average intelligence willingly get into a relationship with a woman who has become known for having husbands “mysteriously disappear” or end up dead over the past few years? He’d be an absolute moron for getting involved with such a woman. Yeah, go ahead and be that next victim, you dunce.
For examples of the natural tendency for evil— there’s that tennis umpire or whatever she is in the news lately that allegedly killed her husband…she pleaded “not guilty” so that’s sure to be dragged out in the media… I’m also sure she’ll play the “but he was abusive!” self-defense card. There’s also that show “Snapped”, which further illustrates the point that these are some truly vile, despicable creatures that only masquerade as “humans”…and the sick thing is that there’s many times they can get away with whatever, simply because they are women.
*Is my old annoying friend STILL off from work(yet still considered employed somehow)? YEP.
*Kingdoms of Amalur—my ridiculous “Warlord” character could stand to be even more overpowered, actually… I forgot to even make some “prismere”-based(the best material in the game) leg armor for him…and I did that last night, so now he’s even more off the charts than ever. I could probably just let the character stand in the middle of enemies and go out to the store for a minute… come back later and they’re STILL trying to kill him. The “Fateless One” main character in this game is definitely one of the most overpowered gaming characters ever, and it’s SO much fun.
Yeah, sadly that may indeed be the case… because most men are stupid too. Really, it’s accurate to go ahead and say that most people’s common sense and intelligence goes right out the window when they’re involved with someone they are attracted to for whatever reason. It’s probably the most pitiful and depressing flaw of this species (either that or the herd/pack mentality most easily seen in anything involving politics).
One perk I just remembered from my college days— breakfast at the cafeteria. Sure, it was definitely not Waffle House or Cracker Barrel quality… but it was still good enough, imo…something reasonable. Aside from “Steak Night”, this was the only meal from our cafeteria that was any good though.
“Monster Movie” episode of Supernatural is on right now! This one was hilarious… I’ll never forget the Shapeshifter dude is in the form of Bela-Lugosi version Dracula and getting ready to kill Dean, then he’s interrupted by the sound of the doorbell…it’s the pizza man, because he ordered one earlier… still in “Dracula” character, he’s like “…excuse me”, and dramatically walks away to go answer that door. (*bonus points-- I’m also noticing that this is from when they still had hot girls on the show.)
haha, and they just got to that scene. Shapeshifter Dracula answers the door with the dramatic “…GOOD EVENING.” and asks… “tell me… is there…GARLIC on that pizza?!” “Look, mister, I got 4 other delivers so…”. This is quality, folks.
*Oh— Honey 2 was on yesterday, so I finally looked at some of that. KATERINA GRAHAM, folks. Lord have mercy x1000000. That’s another strong contender for Magnificent 5™ status right there. That’s some prime hotness that will definitely make anyone stupid with lust.
*Spongebob is the new Scooby Doo in terms of annoying longevity, basically… I doubt there will ever be a time when that shit is off the air for any significant amount of time. It will still be on 45 years from now. The kids who grew up watching it will have great-grandchildren that are STILL watching Spongebob. I never saw the appeal in it. (*edited to add “great” grandchildren, because I forgot that this is the new era where it’s becoming common to see a “grandparent” that is about 37 years old.)
oh hell yeah… a nice little marathon of vampire movies will be on SyFy today…
*oh my goodness… but now it’s RIZZOLI & ISLES time on TNT! A MARATHON of it, YES. Fans of Angie Harmon and… that other girl DEFINITELY should be checking this out or perhaps timer-recording it. Angie Harmon… I would not hesitate to RAVAGE that. That woman would not get a single moment of peace if I was the one in there. All over that house, girl… anytime.
…that woman playing “Maura Isles” is the bonus prize… even her arms are sexy. Unfortunately, Angie has on the full police uniform right now.
*sidenote-- this show has “The Famous Jett Jackson”… I still think of that theme song every time I see that dude, and I can’t remember the last time that show was even on the air.
Well, I always put at least a 750 psu in just in case the customer wants to upgrade later, and you factor in how expensive shipping + insurance is for these things (about 100), and I make about 300-400 on each machine depending on the hardware and where it is being shipped. The more complex the build, the more it costs.
I don’t mark up hardware, really. I just round it up to the nearest tenth to make it an even number and to cover any individual shipping cost. My profit comes from the hours of work that goes into each machine. Assembly, and extensive testing and bench marking to make sure everything works properly before it ships out.
I saved some toddler who accidently walked into the 5ft end of the pool the other day while her parents werent looking. I was pretty scared for the kid…and irritated at the parents…but shit does happen. I guess I was more upset at the fact that they didnt thank me initally. They scolded her, then kinda dismissed me after the fact. Fucking country honkeys!!
Hell, the day before that there was this lady who had her kid’s carseat on top of a shopping cart (that didnt fit) and as they were leaving when she pushed the cart off the couple inch difference between the sidewalk and parking lot, the carseat tipped over and (luckily i was kinda behind them since she was going mad slow being cautious) so I dropped my groceries to grab the carseat in time. The lady actually thanked me mad times…her english wasnt the best (korean lady i think)it felt pretty good honestly.
Yeah your hardware prices are certainly within a reasonable markup - no fault there. I was just wondering the average costs of shipping to get an idea of profitability. The Marvel animated movies are pretty dope so far. That Black Panther show is pretty kick ass. Any of these that I should put in the “must see” category? So far I’ve seen Planet Hulk, Dr. Strange, first couple of episodes of the Black Panther show. The wife watched Thor & Loki as well as Hulk Vs.
lol I once saved a toddler that somehow got out of church unnoticed and was heading into the busy street in his widdle suede suit. The irony is, if I wasn’t “sinning” by skipping church service, I wouldn’t have been there to save the kid. The lord works in mysterious ways…

thats crazy. I can understand how you can lose track of a child in a safe area i.e. your home for example. But in public places?? I dont get it…when I used to manage one of the stores in the mall, there would be a lost kid atleast once a month. I dont get how that happens. I totally get why some parents use the toddler leashes lol. They might look silly but they work.
Edit: I remember my home girl was telling me about how her nephew got snatched up at disneyland/world(the one in fla) and her brother ran to the entrance and waited for the pedophille there and sure enough he was trying to sneak out with the kid. Dude was apparently arrested on site. Sick fuck. I woulda paralyzed that guy if it was my kid.
Thor & Loki : Blood Brothers is one of my favorites. Iron Man Extremis motion comic was good too. Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes animated series is a must if you haven’t gotten into it.
