Unreal and I were just talking about getting back into Tekken yesterday when this comes out, but to wait another 4 years for it? Really? Unacceptable.
Why the long wait?
Contra is legit, man. The Guilty Gear art style is odd for a Contra game, but it’s hard like life in the ghetto and pretty damned fun. Though they do have “uprising” mode where you gain points from playing levels to upgrade your characters with. You can buy more health, continues, and guns, etc. to scrub your way to the end. Or you can play the regular way (the way I play…and fail)
I’ll probably pick it up. I read it was hard, so that’s good enough for me. I picked up the other Contra remake when it dropped was it last year or year before for Wii? That one was monkey balls hard as well, so I’ll probably check it out.
And how about I just flew into a rage a second ago with the pest control man in here spraying my apartment? They have said nowhere that console release would take 4 years to come out, but from looking at how Tekken 6’s release was handled, I’m expecting the same to happen with Tag 2.
Interesting thing, though, is that the trailer states that it will be a worldwide release in the Summer. It would be amazing if they meant both console (for arcade-less areas) and arcade, but that’s definitely not happening.
maxx, yeah, data for all characters goes on one card now. Each character is managed separately as well, so whatever rank you get with one character will only apply to that character and not all characters. About time, too.
As for that Live Monitor thing, I have no clue, but it seems like you can watch either replays of matches from anywhere at anytime and/or be able to watch it live. Not quite sure, though…

Well, seeing as though there are pretty much no arcades here in Richmond, this is gonna suck if it is the case. Closest thing we had anyways is a mall arcade anyways. And you know how silly you look going to a heavily populated mall with a video game controller in your hand when you’re as old as I am? Nah, son, I’ll pass…Unless it’s first thing in the morning.
So it needs to be a console release and sooner than later. I lost interest in Tekken not just because of the gameplay, but having to wait so long to try it out also disappointed me.
