yeah, i’ll show up incognito one day and order something. then make a thread about it later on that day about how you didn’t know i was at your work:cool: do you guys have tartar sauce? i’ll put that on my fries. [/disgusting but true]
i’m making my own guitar bridges. screw paying $315+ shipping for single strings. if my bridge turns out ok, i’ll hook you up if you need one.
many douchebags post in that forum. they can be helpful- but if you are an OG, asking a question that they perceive to be “above your station,” or making comments opposite to the “herd” you may get disrespected. it’s Tech Talk’s biggest secret and deepest shame.
Somebody is going to have to clarify this for me, you can’t talk about playing the game before release or you risk a ban. But if you actually hack the game and take pictures a fucking mod will post it for you on the front page?
Consistency and logic went out the window a long time ago. Remember the short window of time when people were randomly getting infracted for using the word “nigga”?
I don’t think so. The community pretty much blew off SvC and CFJ. We weren’t as hungry for new games at that time so maybe it was easier, and SvC really was shit. But CFJ was playable, it’s biggest offense was just that it felt stale - the character you played felt like a gimped version of themselves.
We talk about the fighting game drought, but it’s not like no games were released at all - there was Guilty Gear (which never found a strong foothold in America) and Arcana Heart, which I’ve never played but from what I understand is a solid fighter. The Tekken games have been coming out regularly, and we’ve had SCIII and SCIV in the interim.
Because SFIV was so successful, we have a lot of people playing the game who don’t like it, simply because it’s what everyone else is playing, and/or they want to make a name for themselves. Okay, whatever. But I don’t think SFIV was successful just because we were desperate and wanted to make it so, it’s actually a very solid game. It may not be perfect…but no fighting game we play is.
I dunno how this applies to Marvel, but given the community’s history, I don’t think we would try to force it to be competitive if it was crap.
i ain’t gonna lie. Every so often meeting somebody who’s probably played MvC3 at every convention/fight night/whatever, probably has been playing a ripped or broken street dated copy, and stomps your shit into oblivion, is not fun. Kinda makes me wait for ranked quick match to ACTUALLY work, and the super players are ranked high enough that they can Dante/Magneto/Sentinel/Storm/Wesker it up while the rest of us scrubs can toil with our basic understanding of the game lol
Go to custom match. I tried online for the 1st time last night and used custom same kill and they paired me with a bunch of idiots who didn’t know what they were doing.
Same as SSFIV the “same skill” settings seems to work well.
“Original” vamps on this show Vampire Diaries are so damn awesomely overpowered… I love it. The one thing that could kill one is a special dagger…and there is only 1 of those…but the dude still came back to life because they screwed up and removed it once they thought he was “dead”. They needed to leave the dagger in his body for him to stay dead. My love of “gamebreaking” overpowered characters continues.
*This broad on the new Old Navy commercial is smokin’ hot.
*That asian woman on the show Nikita… I didn’t like her at first but she has grown on me. She’s alright, and needs to receive a good dose of the ol’ meatpipe.
*Soooooo…there’s no more more thread subscriptions?! ***ah ok, it’s just in “Settings” now.
*That scene in Candyman where you could see something written on the walls in shit…I’m sure that scene cracked me up more than anyone else in the theater. Seriously, I was struggling to contain my laughter from that point on to the rest of the movie…the very thought of someone using a turd as a writing utensil… comedy gold, man.
