It seems to happen more often now; they continue on the claim while still working and making sure to not report earnings…or separation from a new job. It’s not like they can claim confusion about it either, as that first question on the system is very clear-- it asks the person if they did any work(*for which they were paid or will be paid) during the week. Another question covers separation–> it asks them if they quit a job, refused work or got fired during the week.
It gets annoying when you see this situation over and over and over again, especially considering how much extra time/work it creates when one has to address this bullshit with another claim (or 2 or 3 depending on how many places they worked while lying to the system to say they were still unemployed), statements for each separation, trying to build a work history for each one in the system while talking to an asshole who is still claiming he/she doesn’t remember(*not surprising; when caught with something, most people will employ the plan of “deny deny deny”) working there or doesn’t remember exact dates, plus doing the overpayment statement along with the new initial claim if the old one just ended, along with the re-earnings statement and a certain form to get data entry to backdate the older add claims to where they need to be.
so what are the consequences mostly? I assume they have to pay back what they shouldn’t have been given and then some? or is it something else? and what happens when they still deny and don’t bother to well…give a fuck about cheating the system? I mean thinking it over this is why I don’t personally trust giving money to any friends anymore…people in general never like to pay back what they owe…
heh I can imagine what your personal method (given the chance) is to make them pay…
Does the R1 version of MvC3 have the reversible/alternate covers as well? Just out of curiosity. The R3s over here have them, so no weird hulk face for us.
man, the Rock had great mic skills. His matches were Hogan-esque, to put it nicely. However, his acting was solid, and he SHOULD have been the new action star to fill our Ah-Nuld less days, but he had to be stupid and sign a multiple movie deal with Disney, thus paving the way to shitfests like Race to Witch Mountain and the Tooth Fairy. His ass should have been in Predators, and he should have killed 2 aliens, a monster, and at least a dozen robots by now
