Oh what a poor deluded fool I am for having hope. Called to check on whether my Walmart was having the pre-release tournament for Marvel. First off, the department manager thought I was talking about a movie.
If it’s not Halo or CoD, no one in this area cares. F hicktowns.
You know you’ve been on SRK for too long when you see a picture of a cosplayer dressed as Morrigan with a decent rack on the front page, knowing that she will be a topic for discussion in the Lounge.
In reference to my comment to Azarel earlier about MvC3 and newer games having as much to discover as MvC2, its stuff such as this that makes me say that. Game is barely released and we already have tutorials, gaemplay vids, loops, high damage combos, strats. When MvC2 first came out it wasn’t like that. These days information is found, discovered and utilized extremely fast.
In earlier games it was possible for joe-nobody to discover so-and-so and there be a good chance not many knew of it. Now, when that happens Joe, more often than not, will have “discovered” something people were using a week, or even month ago.
Yo couldn’t find you online, so just wanted to give you a heads up. Today, IBM’s computer Watson is going to be playing Jeopardy vs Ken Jennings.
NOVA just did a special about this, and the kind of work the IBM research team did to tackle the tricky AI problems, such as the natural language processing needed to even understand the questions themselves, let alone answer them.
Fascinating stuff, I think right up your alley. Nerd. If you didn’t watch the NOVA special, you should.
