Who has that kind of time? I’ve seen people around here lined up like half a mile to get gas at like 2.39, so maybe that was an hour (and a bunch of wrecks lol).

Shitty, f’sure. Doing 16 hours unexpected sucks dick. Guys there brought me lots of coffee and pretzels to try to make it through. Not much opened at 3am. 
Gotta do another 16 hr shift… But, I need gas or I’m not going anywhere. Shit is hectic with no/limited gas and no power in a lot of places. At least I finally got reception back since Monday.

The discussion used to be pretty decent (when it came to industry-related, “console war” news-- discussion about actually playing games always sucked). But the draconian moderating, the culture of ban-baiting, and just getting rid of anyone intelligent who can argue their way out of a paper bag, really got out of hand. Now it’s a reached a point where you, a nobody who isn’t on good terms with the mods/admins in one way or another, can chose to bite your tongue, or lose your account. So the threads are just news headlines, then hundreds of gifs and useless one-line comments, out of fear.
There’s RSS and Twitter and aggregate news sites now. There’s no reason to visit there, and I have no idea why anyone would post there, other than promoting their game or business or other hustle.
