I do have to admit, there is a local senator I’m fond of because I grew up with this daughter, and whenever he’d pick her up from school, he’d always say hi to me. It just meant a lot to me that somebody that important bothered to know my name, and I still vote for him based on that. It might be the wrong reasons to vote for someone, but I’ve always based my opinions of people on how they treat me personally, regardless of how they act towards others.
