I’ve pretty much given up on turning the SG forums into something worth a shit. I’ll deal with reported matters and continue to work with the Reverge guys if they need something, but I’m leaving them alone now. We tried to keep it from getting as retarded as the UMvC3 section, but all that got was numerous complaints and our asses handed to us by Wiz.
It’s still a great game, though. I’m sad that it’s not doing as well as it should be. I’m hoping they bring out 4-5 male dlc characters first to balance out the cast, or just scrap it and come out with Skullgirls 2 with a more gender-balanced roster.
I dig SG, but I think they messed up by making it too much like Marvel. Because its not Marvel, so people don’t care. Its also no Capcom. So people dont care. Which is not cool.

haha, it’s like a secret super-villain group of black guys found out about Photoshop all of a sudden… and they’ve proceeded to abuse the hell out of the power. There’s been way more fake booties out on the internet lately…just in the past few weeks or so. The funny thing to me is when it’s a picture you’ve already had (in its original, pure form) in your collection for years, so you know immediately that there’s some digital bullshit going on there. As obviously fake as all of them are… I’m surprised they don’t go for celebrity pictures too… I probably spoke too soon. Just watch… there will be a few pictures of Lindsay Lohan’s “new big booty![pay no attention to the blur at the top, bottom and sides of the ass]” showing up on the net very soon, most likely.
Lindsay with an ass would be quite interesting though… ah, it needs to be a real picture for me though… if she were to get ass implants and then a picture was taken of the results… I’d be ok with that. A photoshop-invented ass though… that’s unacceptable as jerkin material for me, because it’s just not a legitimate picture. Sexy pictures on the net are serious business, folks.
haha, I just remembered some of my old times with photoshop and “fixing” certain pictures… like there was a pic of some celeb where some of her ass was cut out of the shot, and I completed the ass with the magic of photoshop… I’d have to look that up again. There was another I remember where some dude’s hand was in the way of the woman’s ass… and I tried to digitally move his hand out of the picture. The result wasn’t that great though.

I was going to mention the fact that too many people can’t get over themselves and play an all-girl game, but I didn’t want to discuss the gender politics of it. I believe there is equal blame for the devs for hoping people would accept this anyway, and amongst other people for being too immature or closed-minded to get past it.
And as for the community being retarded, it’s only the online forum community. The tournament-going community is amazing, and I’ve made several friends out of it.

I’m conflicted on that part of SG. On one end, the story mode was pretty damn chill. I can understand why Mike Z asked Ahad if he really wanted it to be a fighting game. But as far as marketing the game, it is a dumb decision. But then you have that part where people put out the product they want instead of trying to get that paper all the time which I kinda admire about the whole thing.
