So, remember those friends I was talking about who haphazardly play MvC? Well, one of them bit the bullet a bought a stick. I told him to get this one. Was the cheapest, reviews were positive, and for once the buttons were not soldered on. I hope when he gets it it’s not dead or something. Either way, i showed him the Ultimate JLF mod and that arcade stick FAQ so now he’s excited.
I’m going to put him on mIRC’s stick training regimen. I anticipate that he’ll be frustrated at first but he’ll just have to keep drudging on. The good news is, he can’t really do anything consistently now so he won’t have that much of a disparity blocking him.
(Ugh. I omitted “say” in that last post.)

@xlxlxlxl: Belated thanks for the link to the older Firefoxes. I just ended up using Google twice yesterday to find a “legit” copy of 8 (again).
@Amazing Funbags: Yeah, it’s been happening more and more with the various upgrades to Firefox and Flash. I’ve done something about Firefox, obviously, but Flash is really the larger problem, especially since it basically has a monopoly unlike browsers. Ugh.
@white shadow: Yeah, that’s why I assumed the 45 mph thing was a huge mistake or something. Regardless, this reminds me that I need post in the Sci Fi thread later today.
Also, your Usain Bolt comment and everyone going gaga over Aussie cyclist’s girl ass just reminded me of that “mutant” comment.

Oh well. I found quite a few nice images to download last thread. Probably still not going to get rid of my current background, which I would post an image of…if I could find it online again. I was reminded that I signed up for Photobucket earlier this year before I got my ridiculously spacious flashdrive; too bad Photobucket apparently needs Java just to function given I got rid of that POS liability…
man I miss CvS2. when my GF and I played fighting games now and again, she tried SF4 but wasn’t feeling it. She hated MvC3 and SFxT. CvS2 she played long before I met her and even though it’s not at Evo anymore officially, we’d both enter just because we support the game. Man now I want to pull out my old PS2 to play it again.
Sanford is something else in Marvel…it amazed me seeing him and others work those combos.
