Why not? It’s not the most ambitious or lucrative line of work, but you can parlay your interest into writing books, teaching, or whatever else it is that these people see fit to do with their lives. I don’t see how that’s any less legitimate than people who find plankton interesting enough to study marine biology, or people who find cars interesting enough to study automotive engineering.
Watching the old animated Transformers movie like a cholo. No wonder everyone loves this movie, the music never makes sense for the scene it’s set to.

But seriously, what do you reply to this shit with? Do you just sit there and listen to it? 
Yeah man. You may be right. I can’t juggle all these fucking games and practice and be more than mediocre at all of them. I used to want to master like 3-4 characters. Now I barely have the time to master one characters fucking movelist.
SF4 - The first of the new breed of having a lot of fighting games. I was actually ok because it was gonna be awhile before another fighter that interested was gonna come out. So I had time to practice Viper’s Fierce,TKC,Fierce,Seismo shit and get Rose’s range down before the new characters and nerfs/buffs.
MVC3 - I had a couple of Phoenix teams down pat and I was just starting to figure out sonme Dormmamu strats until Ultimate came, changed a bunch of shit, added a bunch of characters and shitting in my cereal
SSF4AE - Man… I didn’t even have time to do much even though I really liked Oni’s playstyle. Plus they nerfed Rose’s Balls. (pun intended) UMVC3 wasn’t too far away and I just had to cop that.
UMVC3 - I wanted to master a bunch of characters. Really liked Hawkeye and Strange and Nemesis. Ended up dropping all my Dorm teams, practicing barely anybody else in favor of getting a good Phoenix team down with Nemesis because I didn’t have enough time because SCV was about to drop
SCV - Wanted to get 4 characters down to a science but somehow I ended up maining Zwei (low tier/borderline crap) and Pyrrha. Wanted to APat down but there’s no time to master all his stupid JFs as the timing changed from SC4’s setsuka. But I did get a lot of time with so I’m pretty average with Zwei (which sucks because he blows and is hella low tier).
VF5FS - Got Sarah almost down a science in that I can do her JFs 80% of the time. But I can’t hold my own against people thats really good so I’m trying to fight a lot. But I wanna main Aoi and Goh too. But VF is the type of game where you have to get your ass kicked a lot before you can become mediocre.
KOFXIII - :lol: I barely took it out of the box. Doing the trials are like “WTF?” It’s a team game and I only got one character down. But I don’t even like King’s fighting style in this game. There’s no Geese, no Rock, no Rugal… it just collects dust.
Skullgirls - Thank god I think that game looks hideous.
P4A - I’ve been waiting for this game as it really looked cool and I dig the characters. But fuck there’s a lot of shit to remember in the game engine. I didn’t think it was gonna be like GGXX.
