I don’t understand how blockbuster stays in business. Renting movies? it’s called the internet. even those of us that haven’t figured out how to torrent (or choose not to for some reason) have discovered netflix.

seems like an antiquated and unsustainable business model to me.

More dumb superpowers—

1. Let’s say you can fly…but only about as fast as an average bird like a blue jay or sparrow… However… in order to fly, you have to do it the goofy way by flapping your arms repeatedly like they are wings. Obviously that’s not a good look. That’s not proper superhero swagger. Flying only looks cool if you could do it with Superman style, or like the characters from DBZ, Neo in Matrix Reloaded, various other superheroes, etc.

2. The power of absolute psychic control …but that control is only over mice. The best thing you could really use this for is theft of small items…and perhaps voyeurism if you attach a small camera to one or more of those little buggers (heh heh, then you mentally command the little dude to scurry along, right into one of the women’s dorms at a university)…but that calls into question the video quality of your footage. It’s 2011, and it’s tough for me to settle for anything that isn’t HD or at least close to it, when it comes to “the good stuff”.

Once again, the Nissan Leaf…who would buy that? I was satisfied to finally hear a local talk-radio personality bash that stupid-looking fruit-basket ass car the other day. Time for a bit of research… I want to keep tabs on just how badly that silly looking car bombs. The Leaf is like that 1 obvious joke character on the select screen of a fighting game.

Actually, Blockbuster stores all across the country are going out of business. The one in my town is closing down and has everything listed as 35% off. They tried to keep up by launching Blockbuster Online, but it was just too little too late.

Last year, Yahoo! Finance posted an article about the top companies that might not make it past 2010 and Blockbuster was in the top 10. Oddly enough, Yahoo! was in the top 20. :lol:

2. This is great actually if you could control a lot at once, you could use it to ransom a whole city. Like that old fairy tale.

The leaf looks bad but it outputs 100% torque all the time (most car won’t reach full torque till around 4500-5000rpm, assume engine redline at 6500rpm), it would be very fun to drive.

Mice or rats? If you could breed thousands of them, you could easily use them for intimidation or terrorism, or even murder.
