So, I was looking at Talib Kweli’s new album on Amazon (I didn’t know he had a new one out since I don’t keep up with music anymore), I decide to go to YouTube to see what I can find over there.
So, most of you are probably aware of how retarded I find conspiracy theories to be, in the general sense. Some guy (his screen name is mark420smokeit, so clearly he’s a class act) has uploaded a bunch of songs to YT in video form…but he’s made them slideshows of stupid conspiracy theory memes and bullshit. Like, it’s actually kind of amazing. Firstly, they have nothing to do with the songs that are playing in the videos, which is a bold directional choice.
But they’re fairly shameless. One even shows “zionists”******/"illuminati “[media=youtube]IplgDTuQoIk#t=01m13s”[/media]. Amazing.
******In conspiracy theory circles “zionist” is code for “Jew;” used so you can’t be accused of racism.

I was interested more in the realization of how easy it is for people to suspend belief in fiction when it comes to the supernatural even when it’s not overtly religious and how one crafts a scary story believably (even though I’ve no interest in writing one).

i’ve been really bothered by my execution lately. I thought changing buttons would solve it and that has definitely helped, but I dunno what is up with my JLF. Maybe I never really properly got used to it after using shitty american sticks in arcades my whole life. it’s like after 18 years I should be able to do a fireball consistently. I’m going to try out a seimitsu stick to see if that’s any better (but of course lizard lick is out of stock of the one I need)

The last time I said ‘wow this is the fuckin future’ is Kinect (fuck the games). It’s basically robotic sight. There’s already videos of Kinect-equipped machines navigating rooms, avoiding obstacles, responding to human commands, etc.
That trolled my ass all fucking night. I was seriously freaking out a little bit. That whole thing is pretty interesting though. Sure it’s fake but from what I gathered it’s basically an IRL game that the fans of the story still play. It’s pretty cool that the dude came up with it on it’s own and it effectively freaked me the fuck out.

I watch that “trash” King of the hill is a damn fine show. On the contrary it’s an acquired taste to appreciate the show. The show deprives all of it’s good smart humor from the fact that there’s no over the top antics like other shows. it’s what the simpsons were like years ago. Also I hate the PT cruiser so your wrong there man :lol: if anything I don’t care how popular the 2 hour Seth McFarlane shit is I say drop it. :arazz: so much pruning to be had on that station but King of the Hill isn’t one of them.

It wasn’t a total loss on King of the Hill though… at least there were 2 of Hank’s friends that were genuinely funny, in my opinion…the fat balding guy and the fast-talking guy. Of course, these 2 characters still aren’t enough to carry the show for me.

*There should be a new game based on Thundercats, then another on Silverhawks. Those IPs are such PRIME source material for a game. I’d simply give Thundercats a God of War style of presentation… of course a DMC/Bayonetta style might work for it too. Silverhawks— I’d make that into more of a shootemup/fighter hybrid, due to the setting and concept of the characters. Most of the action would be shootemup (*not FPS though… a “shmup” action shooter, at least for the space segments or anything where they’re flying around either in the ship or with their wings.)

I’m a little late on this one, but I just wasted an hour practicing Iron Man infinite in MvC2. Of course when I first tried it awhile back (without looking up any tutorials or anything), I was doing it all wrong (or at least over-doing it), trying to land it during fast-fly combos and such. I swallowed my pride, watched a video, and let a nice long derrrrrrrp out. Just hold up-forward, press four buttons, repeat, receive hate mail, etc.
