Well in his defense he had a physcho bitch pressing a knife against his back. Probably just telling her what she wants to hear to stay alive. Then hopefully GTFO’d as soon as he had the chance.
Now excluding Jack Frost I know we all think Incest is pretty fucked up. But should they be facing jail time for it? I mean as long as no babbies are being made and both parties are consenting and of age they aren’t hurting anybody. Let them do what they do. So long as they’re not in public with that shit.
Edit: Hmm well they did announce to the world they are in a relationship so now it’s in our faces, so fuck them and their nastiness. Like damn lady you got that AirForce base near by with all those young in shape dudes just raring to go who live in town. You wanna be a cougar? Find them at a bar and pounce on them.
I’ll give him that last remark. Everyone shouldn’t have to be all super conscious and lyrical like Kendrick or Cole. Not every rapper is like that and there’s more to rap than that. Sometimes you do want to listen to something that just gets ya hype and turnt up. However that’s no excuse or defense for just not trying and just letting a beat carry a song. At that point the fuck are you there for? The dude who composed the beat might as well say fuck you, and release it as a instrumental single like Daft Punk does.
Eh, to me that’s smashers who want to do fun combos but don’t want to learn fundamentals.
I’m personally not a fan of that style of music. I like a skillful wordsmith who can tell a story through the song or at least provide a good verse (with good delivery, rhyme scheme and clever wordplay) than something like Panda. At a certain point just give me a good instrumental like nujabes if the words are just additional noise that don’t provide any substance to the track.
At least even someone like drake actually preforms versus during the song and not something that you can’t even understand.
Just feels like a bunch of photoshop filters that when you take it away, it turns out the ‘artist’ uses those gimmicks to hide a lack foundation in skill.
It means that they are looking for shortcuts that don’t last in the long run. I’m not saying they aren’t artists. But they aren’t utilizing their full potential.
(For the record, Greg Land isn’t an artist if we’re including him in “post-modern artists”, if only because he probably still just traces shit even nowadays.)
So…the end of Peter Jackson’s King Kong is on in the background because I had AMC on before I fell asleep and…wow, beyond dragging too long like pretty much everything Peter Jackson touches, I’m getting massive furry/bestiality vibes from the end of this movie given how much he’s going out of his way to “humanize” Kong before he dies. This especially since the 1970s Jeff Bridge’s version of King Kong, which also admittedly haven’t watched all the way through, doesn’t seem to go this route in humanizing Kong before presumably dies there too.
It’s really awkward. I wonder if that was among the criticisms that were part of why this movie bombed from what I vaguely remember.
