I think they had an exhibit at a museum about that when I was in school. I remember seeing all these bodies with no skin in various poses. I don’t remember if they were artistic recreations of the human form or if it was actual taxidermy.

No, coding materials are widely available. It’s hard to figure out how to get started but certs are easy to get when you know it.
I am an Engineer, I sat on wait lists for 2-3 years while I had to take basket weaving courses to keep my loans active. Those lists are long, get your degree map, email the teachers for the syllabus and do it on your own and test past as much as possible. The entry & mid level courses have heavy wait lists, you need to just do the math courses on your own. Once you have all the math pre-reqs the higher courses are usually wide open.
Most advisors are aware of this and can pull some strings to let you test through. Make sure it’s a STEM advisor and not general academics or they are fucking clueless.
