Yeah Warhammer Space Marine is undoubtedly THE SHIT™…it was multi-platform though…I played it on 360. Of course I also go on all day every day with my love of Kingdoms of Amalur but it’s also on other systems (*not sure why “multi-platform” is a problem for ya? Sidenote—I love Amalur so much…I actually have all versions of it…until Diablo 3 this was the only game I’ve bought multiple versions of. Yeah, it’s that serious… I have it on 360, PS3 AND the goddamn PC. My love of that game goes deep.)
Dead Nation is a good one if you like the “twin-stick shooter” type of thing…it is only on the Sony “family” of systems. I played the hell out of that game…eventually getting the platinum trophy on it if I recall.
Demons Souls-- this was initially the reason I got PS3, actually… it is still exclusive, I think. The only way you “kinda” get it on other systems is in the “spiritual successor” series Dark Souls that showed up later on 360 and now X1/PS4…speaking of which, Dark Souls 3 has been on sale lately… 35 bucks on Live; not sure if the same sale is on PSN at the moment (a “Namco/Bandai Publisher Sale”)

Marilu Henner is on there! That was a LEGENDARY tv sexpot back in the day. Yes, she’s apparently 60-something but I’d still pounce without question. (from her reaction to Derek being her dance partner…it looks like she wants to go full on cougar mode and pounce him) She was THE first hot redhead I had ever seen…the reason I kept watching old repeats of Taxi when I was a little kid. (besides the nice theme music)

However, this is surprisingly not as good as previous seasons in terms of the lineup. Of the celebrity dancers, there’s just Laurie and my old honey Marilu from way back.

That said, I am a bit surprised that there has been no attempt, as far as I am aware, to ever revive Beavis & Butthead given how iconic it was at one point. I guess I should give it time though, provided this country does not implode in the next 4 years or so.

Ran into some old old old friends at the last tournament, made me think of SRK over time and I got nostalgic and decided to go with a throwback avatar. Unfortunately we can’t have animated avatars on SRK so I can’t use stuff like the SRK City (Sin City) avs. :bluu:
I wish the SRK account purge hadn’t happened in the switch between forums. We lost the legendary “Get to know a negro BETTER!” thread which is pretty much why SRK existed. :sad: That thread got real and deep and it was awesome. There’s chat and Facebook and Twatter and Slack and Dischord and Hangouts and all these things, but the reason I’ve loved the forums is because they’ve provided a history and treasure trove of awesome for a decade and a half now. Let alone a discoverable central gathering point from which goodness and competition has radiated outward. It sucks that accounts were purged. It sucks that the current Search barely works. But hey: SRK is what we make of it.
I miss arcades. Stopped by the local arcades and won a bunch of prizes on the redemption games, but Championship Pac-Man and Deal or No Deal were kinda the sad highlights of the place. Ugh. At least we had ~100 people for this past Saturday’s console tournament.
I got nothing. If only I had Whitney Carson’s phone number, everything would be right with the world.
