Look, cops out here in N.O are itching to fade someone. It’s gotten so absurd right now that I’m selling dashboard cams by the pound. Every other person who comes in wants the best dash cam they can find.
I remember when I was hosting a Japanese exchange student, about half of her classmates had pronounced calves but zero curves. It was like looking at real life Street Fighter Alpha Sakura sprites.
Problem with a dashboard cam is if they lock you up they can disable it. I want something that streams to a locked youtube account. Also what kind of angle coverage? Can i get a system set up so it can record my trunk if they try to plant some shit?
I literally have no desire to see that movie. Nothing in it seems to have been made to get me to watch it. I don’t really know any of the characters and the adaptions of the ones I’ve seen look like shit.
After the first Avengers, everybody in Hollywood should’ve understood what comic book movies need to do in order to be work. DC is hell bent on ignoring the simple lessons of it and doing whatever bullshit comes out of their ass.
I’m just gonna assume that Batman & Robin was and is the better movie between the two. Yes, I have seen B&R multiple times in my adult life.
It’s not B & R bad, but… you know when you get past the trailers and see the theater’s “turn off your cellphones” video? That little spark of happiness that the movie is finally starting? For me, the movie wasn’t worth that spark. So, yeah, I’d stay away.
I seriously wonder just how the hell Marvel can be racking up all these wins with just a few Ls in the movie department since '08, but DC only has the Dark Knight trilogy as their golden achievement. I can name way more DC characters than I can Marvel characters off the top of my head, and I’m not even into comics like that. Yet DC has been hot puppy shit with these characters these last few years.
Its something I’ve mentioned that is important in video game adaptations and is something that happens way more in the DCAU than the cinematic one. DC doesn’t trust the characters on the big screen. Marvel just gives them to you full blast. Somebody mentioned that DC has the more adult storylines and they feel that way. Their animated universe definitely feels a lot more adult than the Marvel one. What they haven’t really been able to achieve is giving you that spark. Getting that essence of the character on the screen for better or worse.
That’s the thing about the Avengers movie and why I love it so damn much. It has the characters just being and doing the things you love them for. DC is trying to tell a great story without really showing you why you love these characters in the first place.
