Speaking of hideously graphic violence, I had the most fucked up dream I can ever remember having in a long while, which is saying something given it was actually a dream rather than a “nightmare” where I was on nigh-demonic Beware the Superman shit that was really vividly gory, which basically never happens even with all the times I have died or killed in dreams before. It is even more ironic since if I am not the powerless victim than I am usually the (polite) bad guy, but in this case said killing spree was for a good cause–a friend was being tortured, in part because of me–of all things and I remember feeling so unbelievably pissed off, which also almost never happens.
I cannot help but feel like this says something about my possibly waning sanity.
