2)because of the infestation of bots and people needing an account all the time just to lurk, that seemed to have turned people off. Because somehow there is way less people nowadays on SRK in general than before. Which translates to way less people posting up in the lounge. There was a time when the lounge was producing 4 to 5 pages a day. Nowadays we’ll be lucky to see 2 pages in a day.
3)the same ole people posting the same ole bullshit every day. which is fine but at the same time it gets sorta tired. i wish there were more people posting up in the lounge to reinvigorate it. Yunno, new blood. or at least people who use to post up here posting up again. like odin and eldergod. pteradactyl, etc…i miss folks like yusuke the detective.

You’d think so right? But nope, trust me even top U.S. vets still get salty more often than you’d think, you never quite get used to losing to unblockable tatsus, seeing boxer get 2 supers a round, taking 33% damage from chun’s throw, getting walldived to death, getting dizzied by a 2 hit combo, etc. I think I handle the SalT better than most I don’t get emotional over any loss, but even I have my “wtf that was bullshit” moments here and there over the years lol, hell my friends get really salty when I hit them with dp’s or super because it always seems so random. It never stops being a love/hate relationship with the game no matter how good you get or how long you play, one of my friends Riz the top dictator in U.S. and IMO easily top 5 player is in Japan for an ST tournament now and those guys are truly zen as fuck they don’t seem to ever get salty and have a really happy/chill attitude toward the game win or lose probably because no one goes on streaks it’s just a back and fourth blood bath there.
I don’t think ST has ever made me mad. The game is full of bullshit but it doesn’t feel like your tools are ever bad. Probably the game where it feels wins and losses are firmly under my control. Should def go playing it.

Try playing a top claw/boxer and getting bodied for 2 hours straight then try re posting that lol. I pride myself on staying composed and accepting defeat like a man when I lose in a game, especially my beloved ST I place blame squarely on my lack of skill however, I can’t say with a straight face that I never feel annoyed at the fucking bullshit curveballs it throws at you.

I was playing Honda in ST and this other player totally shut me down with Blanka’s jump LK. Headbutts won’t go through it, stuffs any and all anti-airs, etc.
