I know itâs a work in-progress, but that Lost Souls Aside game currently looks and sounds generic in the nicest way possible. Only thing missing are the generic white guy protagonist and some forced female love interest, whether dead or alive (or Dead or Alive).
This reminds me: How did people find that Ni-Oh game demo? It looks interesting, but Iâm not going to have a PS4 anytime soon, so I figured I would ask.

Me being from the Onimusha/Ninja Gaiden era, I would have to say it plays like those two with a little of Dark Souls sprinkle on top
Ni-Oh does have combos, stance cancels (that cost meter).

I fucking loved the last demo. The mix of souls style combat with stances and the dodges (all of which changes depending on the stance you want to use) and the onimusha style setting blew me away.
And that was an early demo so if they can improve on that. . .
Right now itâs day one for me. Even if the story sucks, the game play was so legit.
Bombcast on Tuesdays. Beast cast on Fridays. Thursdays I like idle thumbs (some of the dudes who made firewatch). Double toasted has a show every day just about (you can download the audio for free the following day).
Super desperation radio once a week on team spooky (hellpockets and co) and then I believe Thursday nights aris and friends (usually rip +1) have their ATP live show.
Adam Carolla has a show every day too

I didnât like Ni-Oh much because I want to kill tons of ninjas without thinking too much about how Iâm doing it rather than looking really cool while doing it.

Just had a dream where I had sex with Nicki Minaj in a McDonaldâs restroom.
(I normally donât give a damn about The Washington Postâs opinion on anything, especially with regards to this year, but, damn, Suicide Squad got shredded in that newspaper. I laughed at Jai Courtney getting called âoff-brand Tom Hardyâ.)
Anyway, since itâs VGM Friday, for a challenge and out of curiosity, I figured Iâd try to find as many video game-related songs as possible that âDiamond Dustâ in the name. I only found about four since DDR doesnât count and because Youtube and Google kept giving me stupid Bleach stuff because of Diamond Dust Rebellion. I wouldnât necessarily say the Sonic ones are all that great, and, surprisingly, none of them are from Final Fantasy either, which is a bit weird, but theyâre all at least passable to listen to, with the one from KOF being the best.
Incidentally, I also found out that diamond dust is apparently a real-life meteorological phenomenon, but thatâs neither here nor there:

Perhaps because too many Americans, even when theyâre not idiots, go to see shitty movies out of morbid curiosity or because they get dragged by their spouses (read: wives) like certain people did for a certain SJW-driven movie named Ghostbusters. [/not naming names]
