@maxx Big downside of Boston is how fucking impossible it is to find parking and I’m saying that as someone who’s in NYC almost every weekend lol. Around the Cheers bar area we were looking for parking for like at least 30 minutes, all the parking spots were for residents only and all the visitor parking was 2 hours max only:chainsaw: finally found a spot on Shawmutt and Dedham. Also last call at bars is like 12:30? WTF gayyyyyyyyy, but despite that still a fun 2 day trip and women are on point I’d go back.

that means you were by south station. you kinda gotta look for the parking lots at that point. last call kinda depends on the bar but yeah its generally about 1 that it hit. since most boston bars clubs close between 1:30-2.

I would love to switch OS if there are viable alternatives. Guilty Gear doesn’t run on Linux, neither are Street Fighter, Battlefield, Deus Ex, Overwatch, Fallout, etc. No one wants to put the big titles on Linux at all. Even Mac doesn’t get half the shit Windows has.

You dump Windows, you give up PC gaming. Windows has become too big to fail, and PC gamers are held hostage.

I need an open source operating system that can run every Windows stuff, but has the flexibility of Linux. Wine can’t do that quite yet.

Linux has support for GIMP 2.0, Blender, Wings 3D, and a wide plethora of alternatives to commonly used programs that make people say “muh photshop and muh MS Word.”

You’re just cherry picking out games to support that “muh games” meme. Plenty of modern titles are on Linux due to SteamOS’ prelevance; shit, even SFV is getting a Linux port. Combined that with the advent of Vulkan, then developers have no reason to not port games towards Linux. The only roadblocks are AMD refusing to offer proprietary driver support for their video cards, and the fact that most game developers are greedy Jews who never liked Linux because it goes against their shekel fleecing philosophies.

At this point, PC gaming has turned into a meme. Any tech-illiterate nggrfggt can assemble a computer with their two hands; just look at Jack_Frost and his poor cable managment + Gayzer keyboard. I don’t know why any mature person would want to be associated with that shit. Just cut your losses, buy a used workstation video card (Quadros are cheap and Tesla’s have dropped in price), find the distro that works best for you, and have a PS4 on the side for your gaymen. Why would you even play GG on the PC when the PS4’s netplay scene is 10x larger? For those other games, why would you even play Jew-produced “Triple-A” bullshit?
