Also, Marques Houston has become the latest celebrity JW. Well, I guess you can call him a celebrity. He hasn’t really been relevant since he was “Go home, Roger!” Anyway, there’s this one lady who’s been online defending JWs and she only posts on Marques Houston posts. Also, he’s been defending his decision online. LOL good luck with that.
We have confirmation that Watchtower is actively spying on forums and trying to catch careless users who’s private info they can grab. They made the mistake of making a bunch of accounts on a Netherlands exjw site and not only got caught, they accessed the site illegally and exposed a person’s private information without their permission, both considered crimes in The Netherlands.
Finally, the UK Supreme Court has overturned the Watchtower’s repeated attempts to block a Charity Commission inquiry into it’s child abuse practices. They are notorious for fighting any attempt to make their practices transparent. This time, they have failed marvelously and I cannot wait to see what happens. They’ve already issued a “revised” version of their guidelines for handling child abuse cases. Of course, it’s not too different from the last one; the only changes made were obviously intended to protect the organization and not any serious attempt at actually revising the process for the better.
Lots of good shit. I am mainly concerned with what’s happening to me personally, though. I think I’ve finally gotten my life on track now and I’m able to be JW free for the first time in my life. I cannot wait to become a public activist and get Sparlock Fest off the ground.
