Just got a rage PM from some dude calling me wrong that VF is faster than Tekken (it’s a fact)and every other fighter out there (also a fact). I detailed it why in the initial post but it just goes over his head. I wasn’t even talking shit, I just got the need for speed.
This site is ok on iDevice but other than that, what the fuck is witty the ads getting stronger(read:more annoying). Why do I keep waking up early?

VF5 is obviously faster than Tekken.
I don’t know why people don’t realize this. If nothing else, it requires faster reactions, on par with Marvel 2. I played FS for a bit, but TBH - it requires too much thought at too much rapid pace for my liking.
Likewise… I haven’t heard the animosity towards it that I’ve heard for previous iterations of Doa.
Stayed up too late playing more BL2 and now I gotta make a 2 hour drive to the doctor’s for a damn note then drive back up for work.
I regret staying up.
Diablo 3 falls pretty short of in terms of the jump Diablo 2 made over Diablo, especially in the higher levels. I know Soviet and Kim play this game nonstop because they are insane, and I’ve only played a fraction of how much they have…but I still poured like 250+ hours into it, and chunks of that were before they patched the game up to make it more playable. It is largely an exercise in bullshit though, and not even hard like Dark Souls was hard - it’s just bullshit. You will definitely physically be compelled to break something around you playing this game in Inferno.
It’s a pretty game though. Fuck it, just buy it. There’s worse games to waste money on.
The Hold system got toned waaaaaay the fuck down like it should’ve been but the game still revolves around the Hold system, you just can’t be spammy with it. One of the VF players in our (small) group plays Aoi, so DOA is still playing that matchup with different skins and simplified. I don’t mind it but beyond that…yeah…
If you liked it in the past you will definitely like this one, however if you didn’t,you will like it more than the past ones, but not for too long. It’s not the worst fighter ever.
As far as VF yeah. We were talking about it in the FB group since one of the tournies in Oregon is going with the 3/5 format for all the matches. One of the guys plays UMvC3 as his main game and respectfully disagreed(probably because it’s FB, lol) but the points that sow one else brought up were

the exchange between two players is 1-2 hits, maybe 3 if it’s a counterhit (this is true for all VF’s).

the game itself uses real time, not game time, so the 45 sec. Time limit is actually 45 sec.

damage has always been big In this game, but FS is a throw back to the VF 1-2 days, maybe more like VF 2 since in 1, if Lau got off one launch it death or ring out. In that I mean EVERYONE can do something ridculous. El Blaze could kill in two counter hits in Vanilla VF5 if you didn’t know how to defend and the same holds true for this one, there are just more opportunities for it in his case since his move list for the most part expanded.
Thinking about it DiveKick is faster, lol, but games being played it’ll always be VF. Fun fact in Oregon the tourne games, by number of entrance go SFIV, FS, everything else. I’ve seen rounds in ST that end fast though. It’s funny, when an ass whopping occurs I that game the other player is like “why are you tryi g to shake my hand?”. “umm that was the match, dude.”.
Feel free to find match that goes faster. Not falling back to sleep anytime soon >_<

Yeah Borderlands 2 will keep you up late without you even realizing it sometimes. I still play the soldier class, even though he’s called the commando now. The soldier in the first game was such a fuckin’ lunatic. He was unstoppable. Get a kill, regenerate grenades. Drop the turret, get ammo and grenades back for yourself and the entire team. Ammo regen class mods. WTF were they thinking? Someone must’ve realized it because this commando is much more toned down.
I’ve been a slave to shooters and/or DCUO. Even though I have Skullgirls and VF5 DLC’ed, I think my buddies have played them more than I have when they visit. Speaking of which, why aren’t YOU on DCUO? Too good to kill bad guys or something?
