I mean, it’s really obvious that they would make one given know they’ve done pointless sequels to more popular, “timeless” stories like the aforementioned Cinderella, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and I think even Bambi. I guess I just forgot because I spent so much time in the kid’s section that I thought they just decided to focus on Tinkerbell spin-offs with her fairy friends and all that bullshit.
Sigh. As far as I’m concerned, the only Disney sequels that are (semi-)valid are the ones to Aladdin.
It’s a shame that they still haven’t done a sequel–as far as I know–to the one Disney cartoon that actually needs them: Sleeping Beauty.
Maleficent really needs to return and kill them all.
