UMvC3, X Factor Stupidity aside, is a good game. Capcom didnāt even have to make it, they did, and you can use more than 4 characters. The whole āUMvC3 AINāT GONNA LAST 15 YEARS NIGGA, I AM BLACK SO WHEN I TALK I YELLā bullshit is backwards logic.
The only reason you didnāt play any other game was because Capcom didnāt make one. They made a new game, a lot of the best players are now playing it, and you are sitting in your room doing rom loops by yourself while Champ is getting paid 50 grand at Evo with the power of the power of the power of.
There are also still a bunch of characters no one plays that are actually really viable. Raccoon, Spiderman, X-23, and MODOK are some big ones.
To say SF4 and TTT2 are bad games when they just arenāt is the sad part of our new internet based culture where everything is either the best bacon epic awesome literal greatest thing in the world or THAT SHIT IS SHITTY SHIT, FUCK THAT GAME.
How can you let an article go up on a fighting game site that says Tekken Tag 2 is a disappointment/lackluster when Namco went balls to the wall on that game and put out a good product. Even the damn Netcode is good. It appears its been taken down anyway.

TTT2 is the second best fighter, this gen.
The best fighter this gen lacks a scene due to bad online options and a long history of not being mainstream.
SSF4 and 2012 are fun.
ToD3 is not my cup of tea, but XFlvl3, TACs, and other 100% life combos leading into ambiguous 50/50 team kills aside, I can see how people find it fun.
Everything else sucks, though.

You see about a dozen characters being used online in UMVC 3 (even saw good Hsienkos), but people seem to prefer the easy route of saying āWESKER IS DUMB THIS GAME IS SO LAME GIMME BACK MY GOD TIER MVC 2 GREATNESS PLZ!ā. I like the game even though it has some pretty dumb shit (although Marvel usually has dumb shit in one way or another).
I feel that even SFxT gets caught in some unneccesary slack. I do feel that many people go down the āDLC IN THE DISC CAPCOM YOU ARE THE DEVIL!ā route instead of actually commenting about the game itself on why the game is so ābadā. The fact that I think JW said that SFxT has no ācomeback shenanigans to depend onā is actually pretty interesting. People are getting pretty spoiled by coming back from the dead with Ultras/X-Factor and not relying so much on their own skills.
