sorry. SWBeta asked me what i thought of GuiltyGear and BlazBlue music and i said i didn’t like it. he asked why, and i told him that foreign Asian guitarists (especially Japanese) can’t play metal (at least not without looking like dork poseurs). one of the reasons is because of the way they play (technique with shortcuts over aggression and explosiveness). it’s weak. MtH is a very aggressive band for Japanese. Doggy Hood$ is another band that has good aggression (they are poseurs though). i didn’t like that song you posted, but overall i give MtH props. i’ll be looking at some of their other stuff later on tonight.
That makes more sense, even if I don’t really agree with it (“can’t play metal” really means “don’t deliver what i specifically like about metal”).And that song is pretty hit or miss with me. I used to hate it altogether, now I enjoy parts of it for reasons I’m not even sure of.
This song was what kind of got me interested in them. Sounds kind of like Mother’s Milk and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. had a baby.

Other fun things about the band: they had to take almost 2 years off because the singer had throat surgery, and then the drummer got pregnant. :lol:
I dunno, maybe just wasn’t important enough to notice, but I’ve been on SRK since 2003 and spent a lot of time in GD. Nhl, college football, politics, law, random stuff. Just kinda stopped having enough time at some point.
Lol the first week I had it all I did at work was think about what would work and what else I could toss in.
I picked up too many mains, keep confusing my combos between my teams.
