Usually I get IPAs, the usual stable is Sierra Nevada//Columbus//Red Hook. I change it up with Guinness, whatever Great Lakes I see at the store (live a couple hours from the brewery), and some Yuengling. When I’m getting a bunch of beers I’ll get Natty or Budlite.

Hrm, I’m not sure of the difference between an amber and a regular lager besides the color. Different brewing process? Either way, I’d go with a Brooklyn lager almost all the time. My favorite lager is easily Session Black. Those are great and cheap.

They don’t have to be specifically from the Czech Rep, it’s like Dortmunder in the fact that it’s a certain style of lager, but with pilseners in Czech pilseners case.
I’ve only had Great Lakes IPA’s and Dogfish or Dogtail IPA or whatever it’s called, didn’t like it, too sweet for me. I like it earthy.
That being said I don’t like light beer either.
