I am indifferent on the Whedon, I like some of his work but certain things he does can be annoying. Just trying to start an argument with me when your basis is the most stupid of points…eh, just seems off. Either way I wouldn’t have argued as it’s pointless.

It sounded to me like whomever the fuck you’re talking about was bringing some valid points up. The answer is to engage their argument rather than accuse them of having an ulterior motive.

Lame villain I can possibly see from someone inexperienced with the comics or expect more of a brute force type of situation. Action though? Nah not really, it’s paced well and starts off with a bang, from that point on there is a hefty amount. I wasn’t accusing nor did I argue with him, I merely brought up I was watching the film and said person started telling me why they hated it and how I should think it sucks for…some reason, then got mad when I didn’t respond and proceed to leave.
Why would I post in a movie thread? It’d turn out just like this “conversation” I had with a person. “Hey I saw X movie/Watching X film.” then someone will quote me and tell me they didn’t like it without me asking them, and proceed to explain what makes it a bad film. Then I will shrug and not pay attention to it. That or someone like similar to you will go into a longer, more education dialogue with a handy dandy word generator open to explain and break down how something is perpetually wrong with my train of thought. I wouldn’t really expect to have a reasonable discussion in that thread or this forum. I’m not a point/counter-point kind of guy anyways.
At least, that’s how every movie thread on every other forum usually goes. Fun to read without participating though. Besides I like the people in Lounge for the most part, and even crawling out of this thread and into other GD ones has been kind of hectic lately.
Oh and did you read Superman #0? How do you feel about the new creative team? I think they have better potential than the last batch that was on but the story had some odd moments going on, weird issue to start them on. Oh and I also wanted to know how you feel about the whole Wonder Woman/Superman romance and the drama surrounding it.

It’s past 3AM here, and I’m still coding away. These guys beside me are playing LoL…makes me want to play Borderlands 2 or Torchlight 2. I’m gonna ask if these guys have either game.
I don’t feel tired, thanks to the Red Bull. It’s the first time I’ve had one. It wasn’t bad, but I think NOS tastes a bit better (XSbeats them all, though).
Redbull is alright, never had NOS. I usually go for Monster. But that stuff stopped having an effect on me quickly and was just fucking my body up, so dropped it. This a temp job or what?
I haven’t had a Red Bull in a while. Been on that Monster stuff.
if i need to drink an energy drink, i’ll drink a NOS. they have the highest caffeine content of all the main energy drinks (i think it’s equal to or over 3 cups of coffee). when my friend and i drove non-stop from Los Angeles to Baton Rouge and then back to my city 3 1/2 hours away. we packed a bunch of Monster (fucking LA having such amazing deals on food. El Tapatio had fucking 5 for $5 on Monster. i can’t even get an energy drink under $3 over here :mad:). i had a total of 4 of them and was sick by the 2nd one. i bet i could have just had a NOS or two and been done with it.
@RockBogart: i went to sleep early right in the middle of that FT10 with OMGITZANDRE. for some reason i woke up at 1:20. i was like “nah, i’m not getting up” went back to sleep. then i woke up again at 2:40. 100% AYO’s fault
if you believe he is incorrect, use evidence in the movie to prove him wrong. sometimes people misunderstand parts in movies and that can spoil their enjoyment. talking about it can change perceptions, either on your side or the other person’s. one of my favorite things about watching movies is talking about them after i’ve seen them. sucks now cause nobody is around for me to talk to movies.
earlier tonight, my friend who is schizophrenic came over and we watched Kill Bill Vol. 1. he hated it. he won’t explain why. it sucks because i don’t even know if he can explain why. i can’t talk with him about movies, i can just show him movies.:sad:
yeah, i can see where you’re coming from with that. sometimes nerds that engage people in negative ways to start a dialogue, can rub people in the wrong way. don’t look at it like people are trying to talk down to you and make you look dumb, breh. they just want to talk about it. your refusal to talk about it can be just as painful to them as when they tell you they didn’t enjoy something that you did.

Monster is pretty weak. It does nothing to me. Red Bull is too expensive compared to the other energy drinks. I used to down Rock Star Double energy drinks. It worked but tasted like medicine.
