So I started very lightly looking into what I can do to my new civic Si, and got rid of the ugly dealer license plate frames and did a trial run of this shit on the Honda badges:

It’s good for 6 bucks a can. I know this isn’t the car thread, but I know some of you lounge folks drive nice whips so just letting you guys know that this shit is good.
I’m going to plasti dip my wheels tomorrow a matte black to go with the metallic black paint on the body. Later on I’m going to also nite shade the tail lights to have a slight smoke tint. Stealth that bitch out.
If the Tick were here, he’d give you a thumbs up and say “KEEN!” Since he isn’t, I did. And yes, the star should be on your casings, a lot like the alienware head, ya dig?
Yeah that’s what I heard also, but I checked a while ago and at least where I’m at, as long as the tail lights are visible so many feet away, I’m straight. I’m also doing a light smoke tint, not black them out as that’s just asking for trouble.

if you like the color, don’t keep it like that. see if you can get your emblems nickel plated black. that orange peel is disgusting.
Wow. Couldn’t you plasti dip your entire bumper so that when assholes bump up against you parking they won’t scratch the paint? Or does it only work on metallics?
It does, but very little of it does chip to cause any brake issues, it’s got a strong latex like bond once it dries.
You could, I’ve seen other youtube videos of guys plasti dipping the lips of their front bumbers and such. The shit bonds to nearly everything but doesn’t eat away or permanently in-pregnant itself to the surface. It’s very interesting stuff, easy to apply and take off, little mess to clean up, and like I said earlier, guys will apply this stuff to their rims when the snow hits to protect the finish from the snow and salt on the roads.
I miss your Herman Cain avatar. That av, your title ('dat ass… cost me the nomination) and finishing a lot of your posts with  just fit SO well, for some reason
