lol tenjou tenge wins for most convoluted a plot and most unessissary flash back arcs for a manga ever.

Watching the MvC3 top 3 for Final Round and Ageojoe giving Yipes a pat on the back was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen ahhaha

So I had some guy on the bus today try to sit on my lap.

I wish I was making this up.

Julia Roberts as a villain. Is this a first?

Negaduck: That Bard you drew was pretty awesome. It sounds a lot like how I designed the Bards in the MMO game I started designing.

Tell me more about this MMO…

I always consider Julia Roberts mouth to be the antagonist of any movie it’s in.

I always think that if I ever get a chance to put my dick in Julia Roberts mouth…I’ll end up as a post-op.

Is her niece 18 yet?

It’s a two way street. We’ll help you out as long as you hold back the encroaching fires of stupidity.

I just made a cool $200. I ordered 5, $50 gold buffalo coins for less than $50. They’re made from .9999 (that’s 4 "9"s) 24k gold.

I’m a genius.

Mass Effect is shit.

Just saying.

that does sound rather swagnificent. Since I can’t cook for shit and I don’t have access to people who can, it’s the pizza guy to the rescue. I know tomorrow I’m going to the local store hunting with a purpose. All I have is hamburger and that Ain’t gonna cut.

-Starhammer-

Baked Potato, with cheeseburger and sour cream on top?

Swag…

You could just eat a burger and cut up some potatoes…

Or buy a premade pizza and cover it with cooked up ground beef after it comes out the oven(Just one of them cheap ass on-sale type pizzas)…

I mean those are two things I can think of right off the bat…

Looking at an empty fridge and working miracles is what I do lol…

Thanks man, I love game design and try to incorporate function in the designs I make. The bard was a pretty rough idea but I wanted To at least get the design out of my mind.

It’s mostly on paper although I did start on it using the Torque MMO kit, but stopped. I should start it back up, but it’s a LOT of work and I wasn’t sure if 3D is the way I wanted to go.it was a sci-fi fantasy hybrid MMO with a minor focus on PvP.

The races were pretty standard. There are the Dar’mra, an elf-like race (no pointy ears though!) that were the original inhabitants of the planet and usually the best spell-casters, Humans who are fucking trolls and are only good at reproducing, and a cyborg race who have altered themselves with technology to the point where they barely classify as human or Dar’mra. I was going to have the size and shape of your character be up to you, but change over time according to how you play. I wanted to include a pretty extensive food system where you had to eat to keep your character going for long periods of time and the quality of food that you ate mattered towards your character’s overall health. You could even get semi-permanent stat bonuses if you maintained a well enough diet. Since it’s a sci-fi game, there were of course drugs for your character to become addicted to. Awesome stuff.

It was class-based, no skill trees because I hate them and they are WoWgay. You could, however, gain experience in one of 9 trees as opposed to gaining points and spending those. If you wanted to go multiple trees, you had to commit a percentage of XP equal to how many trees you were going down x10 to one tree. Example, if you were goign down all 9 trees, you had to spend at least 90% of the XP you were dedicating towards training to one tree of your choice. This is to prevent over-powered cross-tree builds while still making them possible.

Classes were divided up into five main classes, each with three sub-classes to choose from once you reached a certain level. Fighter, Rogue, Artist, Hunter, Keeper. Fighter is just what it sounds like. So is Rogue. Artists are bards, Hunters are rangers, and Keepers are mages/spellcasters.

The three sub-classes are as follows:
Fighter: Knight, Brawler, Warrior
Rogue: Adventurer, Thief, Assassin
Artist: Dancer, Bard, Jester
Hunter: Ranger, Amazon, Druid
Keeper: Cleric, Alchemist, Enchanter, Wizard

Keeper is the only class with 4 options because Wizard is a specialized class that cannot be cross-classed, but is able to use far better magic then the other three at the expense of being able to specialize in anything. The other Keepers can specialize in an element and greatly enhance the effects of their spells.

Speaking of spells, the game doesn’t so much have spells as it does technological effects based on gemstones that are produced by the planet (materia). These are what allow magic to exist, so having them is vital to a spell caster and can give other classes an edge in combat. They are elemental-based: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, & Dark. Each have their own properties and specializations, for instances Water can be used for both healing and offense. Fire can increase strength and hitpoints and Air can increase movement and combat speed. it gets much more complicated than that, but suffice it to say that each type of gem has it’s use. Also, they can be combined to perform dual and tri-elemental attacks in combination with other players.

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell. I think about this game all the damn time and wish I could make it, but it’s so goddamned hard making an MMO. If it were ever made I’m sure it would be popular. You’re basically seeing a sliver of everything I intended and began designing. There’s also a player bounty system, a real and changing ecology where some species and races of animal MOBs could go extinct if over hunted, and a dynamic quest system somewhat similar to what Guild Wars 2 is supposedly doing. Quests MEAN something to other people besides you! Just a while bunch of awesome.

Oh yeah, a lot of the Brawler’s moves are nods to Street Fighter.
