My, this Sonic Colors game looks…dare I say, “fun” for a modern Sonic game. Shows how little I’ve paid attention to the franchise at all in the past decade considering that I only heard of it a week ago.
I’m still kinda surprised that modern Sonic Team did water “right” in that game after seemingly fucking it up a like half of a dozen of the more modern ones and making it instant-kill for some reason…after years of Sonic moving better in water than any other platforming character.
Someone needs to record this phenomenon of “true” blackness.

The problem wasn’t necessarily the open audition; but that I have no idea what kind of writing was submitted. All I had as writing sample were critique’s of anthropology theory papers, undergrad research and 2 page engilsh papers. After reading the front page, I should’ve submitted that and ridden it all the way to editor since at least I have actual editing experience because I use the shit out of my technical writing class. So far, front page is jokes.
Its not. The article isn’t even addressing issues properly. So far all I have in the front page is armchair anthropologists talking about bullshit. I have three years worth of mental notes on this site and the community on a national level that let me understand it pretty well. If I had written them down, I’d be on hundred of pages worth notes for my self and notable forum postings. Wtf are 4 people who came here last year and a mod for capcom unity doing talking about the larger issues of the community?
Worst of all is that MIRC is right; instead of discussing the game all I get is bullshit on top of bullshit on top of bullshit. Editorials like these happened once in a blue moon in the M:TG community when something warranted it. The fact that the only thing we are getting from writers is bullshitty editorials explains why are forums are so damn fucking bad. People would rather talk about bullshit than they would their games.

Unless things have changed drastically, almost all of Best Buys computers for gaming are underpowered compared to what you can do yourself and more expensive.
Ya the last premade I bought was before BF2 came out on PC. lol I thought maybe things have changed and with Cyber Monday (Canada’s shitty Black Friday), that I could get a good rig for a decent price.
But it’s safe to assume they probably throw in a shitty 3 year old video card into them.

don’t buy a gaming pc from ANY retail store. Most of them are old pc’s anyways. It’s cheaper to just build your own at a smaller store. You can also skimp out on a mobo and processor, and sound card. Just make sure you got a lot of ram, and a good video card
I’m getting a lot of calls today for people needing to setup new pc’s 
almost all of them are netbooks. How the hell can a store justify selling a pc with 900mhz, and less than a gig of ram??? That’s not fucking new, even if it’s still in the box
Netbooks are fine if you use em for just that. Net. And books. I actually want one to bomb around with since I don’t need anything more than a CLI, but I really can’t justify the costs. It’s just a toy and I may as well just buy a laptop. That I won’t use.
I pieced together a $400 gaming system using Newegg deals and utilizing the core unlocking “feature” of the AMD Athlons/Phenoms. Some Calliso dual cores unlock to 4 cores and you can overclock them ~ 500 mhz or so with an aftermarket cooler. Coolermaster Hyper 212 costs $25 and my Athlon runs stable with all cores unlocked and a mild overclock to 3.4 ghz.
Add in some low CAS latency PC 1600 RAM and a 5870 or better video card and you’re gold.
My system is dated with a similar setup (Haven’t upgraded yet) and Skyrim recommended ultra settings at 1080p. It runs great, even with 4x AA and 2x filtering. Oh, and I only have 2 gigs of RAM. DDR2. Did I mention that I didn’t upgrade yet? :tup:
